You have to fish in the deep water to land a big catch. Go staff, go Patrick, GO HOYAS!

That’s good they got him for a visit but is there a reason there are crystal balls on rivals from months ago that say Memphis?

Livingston is a stud!!! He would elevate the program and allow the staff to play in ways they have not been able to do in the past. His combination of size, skill and athleticism is as good as just about any power forward in the last few years in college ball. I am not sure what the chances of landing him are, but if he is taking the time to come on an official visit, there is at least a small chance. Coach Orr seems to find a way to connect with some of these high level recruits. I think he was the lead guy on Patrick Baldwin. I don't think he has landed any of these 5 star kids he was the lead recruiter on, but he must have a message and recruiting style that resonates with some of these kids.

What's the connection to Tenn St.? I love seeing some love given to the HBCUs even if it's a long shot.

TSU is going after some of the top recruits now. Some of the studs are listening, even if only a few are buying. TSU transferred in two 4-star players this year. What happens this year could play dividends.
Besides, Livingston has a brother (same graduating year) who’s not as talented as he is, and only a few schools are willing to take both. Livingston has been pretty adamant about playing with his brother.

Wow. Didn't see this coming. When's the last time we pulled a top 10 recruit? Monroe?

So do we take the twin brother to get the 5* kid? I say yes. I don't know if that is a deal breaker for Chris but I've seen teams take on less talented siblings in the past. Oklahoma(Griffin) and Memphis(Barton) come to mind and I'm sure there are more that I'm forgetting.

Although both made the League so hard to say one less talented, I guess.
