He could potentially be a one and done. What are his strengths and what would he bring to the table for the Hoyas? Think Josh Leblanc type player but just on another level. 6'6" pf/wing that is overdeveloped physically and mentally for a high schooler. Can tighten up the outside shot a little bit, but is clearly a lottery pick after a year. Would probably make us a top 10 team if you slide him next to Dante, Jordan, Aminu, and Ryan.

Oh yes in the spirit of just imagining, second year Aminu and riley would devastate, and Livingston would fill the role like you said that would make the team possibly top tier

Interesting development. I wonder why. Also Kansas already committed two players top 50s pf along with a top 30 sf and Kentucky leads on prospects they consider higher priority in his position allegedly (yes, yes his ranking would allow him to jump anyone, probably) so here’s to hoping their success with other recruits lets us get him Think Georgetown has a better shot than folks think they do personally, but lots of obstacles to overcome for sure. I'm not necessarily talking about the other schools on his list... Cryptic. Are you referring to another school, the G-League, or overseas? Are there eligibility concerns or some other off-court consideration?

If Memphis is done with Livingston that means Bates and Duren are going. Gotta like our chances unless Kansas pulls through.

He isn’t gonna decide until after his senior season apparently so I def like the idea of securing Denver and then any of the Rowan, Whitmore, Martin, or Watson to have a solid set before swinging for Livingston and anyone else and then look to transfers if no

Where did you see that he won't decide until after the season?

Nah, more about him deciding what he's looking to get out of his college experience.

Board I'm curious, how long are you'll willing to wait for a commitment and that question is for all our 2022 recruits?

Can coach and the staff afford to wait a year for a commitment? I'm not sure that they can wait that long if this is what the article is implying. In that case, I say we keep going after top players and look to the portal for a solid player. If Watson commits to us, that solves our small forward/wing position. I think we go after a power forward or someone who is a versatile player that can play out on the perimeter as well as the post sort of like Bile if that is even possible.

I'm a PF lean myself, but we maybe surprise with the production we get out of King and Billingsley. I have a sneaky suspicion that Holloway can be a good SF/PF as well.

I like Holloway and I am praying that coach plays him a lot. He's not the most athletic but he has the most creative ways of scoring baskets down low and his game is very effective. Like I said when I first saw his high school tapes, he reminds me of old Roosevelt Jones of Butler with his low center of gravity and his uncanny ability to get layups.

Duren has been expected to reclassify for the past month or so and will be eligible to enter the 2022 draft. Many people expect Emoni Bates to reclassify as well and join him at Memphis. However due to his age, Bates would still not be eligible for the 2022 draft.

A few things of note from this: www.zagsblog.com/2021/08/10/after-visiting-georgetown-chris-livingston-previews-tsu-official-and-sets-fifth-official-visit/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=after-visiting-georgetown-chris-livingston-previews-tsu-official-and-sets-fifth-official-visit1 - “They were just talking about how they can really get me to where I want to be,” he said. “They really believe in me and they’re really nice people. Having a head coach like Patrick Ewing – he’s been where I want to be in life and he can really help me a lot.” While on his trip, Livingston and the staff also discussed the NCAA’s name, image and likeness opportunities. “Being out in Washington, D.C. with all those corporations and businesses out there, that could really help you along the way,” he said. “There’s a lot of things that came to mind that they brought to my attention – their play style and things like that. I think it’s real good.” 2 - “We’ve been thinking about (playing together in college),” Chris said. “We do have a couple offers to the same schools and we talked about it.” Yet, despite their mutual visits, it’s far from a give-in that we will see the twins suit up together at the next level. “I don’t think it’s going to play a big, big role in where he goes and where I go,” Chris said. “I think we’re going to pretty much do our own thing. If we align with our likings of both schools, then it’s going to work out how it works out.”

If we align with our likings of both schools, then it’s going to work out how it works out.” Sounds like he had a really good visit, but pretty much all these interviews after a visit are very positive, so you never really know. The biggest takeaway for me in the article was that he said playing with his brother was not a requirement, because I think that was probably a non starter for the Hoyas. If it worked out and he picked Georgetown, it would be a huge get for the staff. I hope it works out.
