Ewing is likely to want to get good run together for his preferred lineups, because we simply don’t have that many games or practices together this year and they need as much time as possible to prepare for the Big East.
But personally, I’m hoping the starters show up strong in the 1st half and get out to a solid lead, so that more of the freshmen can get some run in the 2nd. They need games for long term development. Hoping Blair, Pickett, & Carey can stay below 30 minutes played.

Who is our best defender to guard 6’6” F Tarke, who averages 18 ppg?

Coppin has been competitive this year I believe without wanting to do any real research. My guess is the game is tight, fans are Editeded after, and we see few freshman minutes.

I'm amazed there wasn't more (any?) commentary on the unis yesterday.
I wouldn't be mad if they decided to go with those for the rest of the year.

Third time's a charm, right? Coppin State is the third opponent in a row with team colors of blue and gold. Must win!

Looked a little Villanova-y, but beyond that I couldn’t complain.

I think we should be able to build up a solid lead here, enough to not worry about this. And I think as a coach you trust your senior to not pick up fouls guarding their man.

This team hung with Duke for a while so I’m going into this one with eyes wide open. Need to come to play and show some growth.

In it’s late 2 games Coppin has lost to GW and Drexel by 16 and 15. Those are 2 bad teams. I expect us to put them away pretty easily. The question is how does coach handle the last 5-10 minutes of the game when we are up big. Does he use it to get younger guys some time in what will likely be our last easy win? If not it shows to me he’s more worried about winning games this year than the future. That is the complete opposite how he treated his other “bad” teams when he was playing the young guys even though they were not the best option.

Ah here is the uniform discussion I was looking for. I loved those jerseys and I hope we stick with them. They're classic and clean.
As far as the game goes today, it's another good test. This is team we should beat but they aren't going to go down easy. I'd love for the guys to come out aggressive, get the ball in the hoop and play strong defense. Hustle and treat this team the same as they did the #11 team. If you put them away early, you get a break and some rest before facing off against Nova on Friday.
Own the boards, block some shots, and let the 3s rain!
GO HOYAS!!

So far early results aren’t promising that was the cause of poor defense, too many turnovers, lack of execution in close games, etc., but I remain optimistic!

Wait is this game today? That was a quick turnaround.
