Wait is this game today? That was a quick turnaround. Had the same thought. Then a game Friday and Sunday (unless Sunday gets cancelled bc of UCONN) - potential of 4 games in 7 days

In the old Big East you usually had a few Sat-Mon turnarounds when playing on Big Monday. Even when Georgetown wasn't involved, Big Monday was always must see TV in my house. I miss it.

I have no idea if Ewing did it on purpose, but I think it's good to get a short turnaround game in here, it looks like that's going to be the plan for a lot of the Big East games to try and minimize travel etc where you go to one area and play two games and come back (no good answer for Creighton i guess). So some practice getting used to that schedule is smart.
As for the uni discussion, i'm all for the Gtown side of it but would rather it not be against teams in gray. It was very disorienting to have a gray team on the court for a Gtown home game and it not be the Hoyas.

2 games in 3 days, 4 games in 7 days, etc. should not be big hurdles to overcome if one of the eventual long-term goals is to win 3 games in 3 days in NYC.

The dream is to go up big early and then let Harris, Clark, Wilson, Sibley and even Berger and Holloway get minutes. In all honesty, I see them playing it a little closer than it has to be and winning by 5 or so, in classic Georgetown fashion.

In all honesty, I see them playing it a little closer than it has to be and winning by 5 or so, in classic Georgetown fashion. In the Ewing era they have been able to get big leads against bad teams which allowed the back ups to play. With III, every game seemed to come down to the wire (even against inferior teams) because of the clock management Princeton style of play. So the bench never had time to gain experience in OCC, and then never played during Big East play when the competition was superior.

To the historians (DFW?), when is the last time we wore blue uniforms at home (excluding the Aqua/Teal, which we wore at home a bunch of times)? I cannot remember a single instance in the last 10+ years. The navy blues are always my favorite but I still think it's weird to wear them at home.

they seem to be quicker than us early on. we seem flat footed trying to keep up with their guards.

Terrible inbound pass by Blair and another bad pass by Blair inside... smh senior mistakes... It’s sad when you look at our lineup and 4/5 guys are seniors. We play like 4/5 guys are freshmen.

How did this team have WVU at 60-60 late in the 2nd half two days ago?! match-ups. we match up well with WVA, if you will. Huggins plays a throwback style of ball. Quicker, open-space type play will give us more of a challenge.

There is no risk in playing Berger, Robinson, KC, CH and DH. It cannot get worse and it sends a message. Sit. Blair for 3 minutes. Talk to him and send him back out there.
