Actually, John Saunders from the Sports Reporters spoke highly of Craig as person after he was fired on the show. Mike Jarvis spoke this year on ESPN about Craig as a person. Brem Weintein from Sportstalk 980 said Esh was a very nice guy, but G'town was private. The only time I hear about Esh being a jerk or arrogant is on this message board. That is not to say that people said he was a great coach. Nobody said that. People criticized his coaching and rightfully so.The only people who thought Esh was a jerk are some on this board. Its funny because this board is not the end all of what really goes in the world and truths about people. I think people need to get out of their comfort zones and realize there is a bigger world outside of the hoyatalk board. mike jarvis? hahahahahahahahahaha a vote of confidence from satan is pretty much the kiss of death...

This is like John Doe at the party. The guy who normally isn't funny, but tells jokes all the time because he thinks he is funny. However, on this one occasion a few of his jokes bring a few laughs from the crowd. The few laughs from the crowd egg him on, so he keeps going to the point where he is back to his natural boring self. Only he doesn't realize that those laughs are the exception, not the rule. So through the remainder of the party he keeps cracking jokes that nobody finds funny anymore, but he is oblvious to all of this. He just doesn't stop. People don't go near him anymore because the earlier laughs from the crowd have created a monster. Except for Jane Doe who has a kind heart. She doesn't want to hurt his feelings by saying his jokes are remarkably dull. So, to appease him, she stands there in front of him hearing bad joke after bad joke. Making faces and saying "wow, John you are a riot", but she is crying on the inside. Others witness the debacle, thinking "gosh, poor thing. I can't believe she is listening to his dumb jokes. That is worst than torture". Hate to break it to you _way, but its more like jahidi has the whole party in stitches, begging for more. If he were attacking Esh as a man saying he was this or that, I'd be right behind you. My guess is the "opposition" is more like the the one guy at a party who just stands in a corner critiquing anything and everything going on around him, slowly getting drunker and more belligerent. That woman's dress, that guy's hair, what a jerk the host is... there's one at every party. Keep your cocktail off the speaker. Don't tap on the fishtank glass.

I'm saying his jokes aren't funny. They are not hilarious. I just didn't find his jokes hilarious. But then again, I don't find Bob Saget or Seinfield hilarious. I'm more of a Bill Maher or Richard Pryor type guy.

However I heard him promoting a comedy show in Baltimore and he actually is incredible. I'd love to see him live. And yeah, Maher and Pryor aren't bad either

Just to add to the hodge podge and chaos of this thread... www.newspress.com/Needless to say I blew up the photo in photoshop this morning, printed it in color, framed it and put it on my desk before my colleagues came in. I tried to maintain a straight face as I told them it was my dog and said things like "isn't he adorable?"

Well _way, you are entitled to your opinion. I personally HATE Saget and don't find Seinfeld that funny either. Pryor is a god, Maher is hilarious. We apparently share the same sense of humor. You watch Real Time with Bill M? 'Cause jahidihoya's jokes sound a lot like something Maher would do in New Rules.
My implication in the previous post is that you were the one guy at the party... 'cause the rest of us (minus one or two) have been laughing along the whole time.

Actually, I probably wouldn't be at that kind of party anyway. My party's tend to be more fun and have a certain kind of wild side to them. ;D Oh yeah, congratulations Buff on the Golden status. Stay gold Ponyboy, stay gold!!

I can't believe the_way and buff are talking about moving in together. They just seem to be moving so fast. Buffalo is so sensitive...I worry about him getting hurt.

What do you expect me to do with you moving to the left coast, 'bridge? I gotta move on at some point... even if it is into the arms of a tall, moustached man such as Esher... er... I mean... the_way.

the_way - C. Thomas Howell (although if scheduling conflicts keep him from accepting the role, I heard Richard Grieco wants to make a comeback)
