So theres way too many scenarios, but let’s assume the most likely scenario is we lose and Creighton wins over DePaul. So then Seton Hall wins and we fall to 7 to most likely face PC/Butler loser on Weds? Seton Hall loses and we get 6 and then play Xavier/St Johns winner on Thursday? Does that sound right? When I was looking at it yesterday, it looked liked if the Hoyas win they could be seed 4-6, if the Hoyas lose they could be seed 6-9. Given the current state of the Big East, I'm not to concerned with the potential matchups. According to the Reilly analysis we also have a 6% chance of finishing 3rd. If we could avoid Creighton, I would do so because they seem to be this team’s kryptonite.

Revised: If the Hoyas win they could be seed 3-6, if the Hoyas lose they could be seed 6-9.

To be the third seed, we need the following outcomes:
Hoyas over Marquette DePaul over Creighton Nova over Seton Hall Xavier over St. John's

Playing Creighton on Thursday > Playing Butler or PC on Wednesday.
Playing Xavier / St Johns on Thursday > any of the above obviously

Today’s odds:
Nova -3 at SHU PC -3 vs Butler MU -9.5 vs Gtown Xavier -3 vs SJU Creighton -7.5 vs DePaul
With us being the biggest stretch, I think all of the underdogs are just as likely to win today. That being said I’m rooting for all the favorites other than our game.

Nova down 11. Really can’t catch a break lately.

Scoreboard watching has just been miserable this year.

Scoreboard watching has just been miserable this year. The early games are trending towards a 7/10 Wednesday night game with DePaul.

I can’t believe the same Seton Hall team we beat will now beat Nova and Marquette back to back while we will likely lose two straight.
The fact 8-10 doesn’t get you a Thursday game is nuts.

I've concluded that our game in regulation against SHU was more of where the team is right now. The OTs were the outliers and we picked right up with bad play against DePaul.

Don’t think it’ll happen, but if we beat MU it’s likeky the BE will have 0 ranked teams and no top 30 teams in the NET. Not a good look for the conference.

With the Nova loss, Georgetown has to win at Marquette to avoid Wednesday night.

Everything since our Seton Hall win has been a massive disappointment.

Willard has to be BE Coach of Year.
They lost Delgado, Carrington, Rodriguez and Sanogo -- leaders in every statistical category, 60+ percent of their total minutes, 70+percent of their scoring and rebounding.

Congrats Seton Hall. Coming off a very tough loss, they manned up and got two huge victories. They deserve a NCAA bid.
