Liberty is loose now that it doesn't matter, but we're TOO loose.

Can someone explain why we aren't running the shot clock down on these last few possessions? Very stupid play. That is why Akinjo and McClung are sitting.

This husky voiced announcer is pretty bad at commentary.

Probably a B effort there. Return of the careless turnovers and some questionable decision making at times but again, I do t think our problems will be on the offensive side of the ball this year. Can we get stops? Can we string a series of stops together? We did that tonight and were able to stretch out the lead. Got lax at the end there so still learning to play a full 40 mins.

That game is pretty much what I expected. I figured we would hit shot and they wouldn't. They missed a lot of open shots and we made 3's. That's what tends to happen when a team comes off their best game and the other off a terrible game. If anyone follows other teams especially smaller to mid major teams and know of a scenario like tonight where one team is coming of a huge win and the other off a big game let me know. My wallet will appreciate it

We played well for most of the second half, but we do some alarmingly bad things defensively and it’s not just one or two guys. You can blame youth, but it’s basic stuff and it’s worrying.
Looking forward to ‘Cuse but we need to not play like we’re completely disconnected on defense to have a real shot.

I don't think the coaches will be too happy with the performance other than the result and the fact the team played hard. From and X's and O's standpoint we were about the same as we have been all year. The difference is we hit shots and they didn't. That happens but we still have major improvements too make. Hopefully in a hurry as the game this weekend will get ugly if we play like we did tonight and just shoot normal from 3.

Whether we win by 5,15 or 25 points. A win is a win. Some folks on here are too caught up in the style points. I see a team when pushed, pushing back...i see a resilient team...a team that doesn't give up. The LMU game was a fluke...they were on an emotional high from the Illinois game. We have flaws, but coach ewing is molding the mental makeup of this team. The on the court execution will improve...i suspect the team we see tomorrow night is the team we'll see going forward. Just win Hoyas! ...like I said...we are deep and resilient, the intensity was continuous...style points don't matter...onward to the carrier dome. Go Hoyas!

Final Thoughts Glad to see the team get a solid win Akinjo, Govan, Mclung lead the way wtih 19, 17, 12 pts Govan and Leblanc had 10 rebs a piece Even though the team had 17 asst vs 19 to's, they shot 11/18, 61% from 3pt land that counteracted the turnovers
Final Grade; A 1st double digit win of the season for the Hoyas buoyed by an offense & defensive spark that made a 31-10 run that ran from the beginning of the 2nd half to the under 9 min mark and ballooned the lead to 23pts Next stop Syracuse

Super lazy defense from Jagan on 5’9” wonder frosh for a 3 at 1:24 left... Coming off the bench and he is stylishly lazy... Bad Jagan.

My wallet will appreciate it 1st time this season that the Hoyas have covered, can't tell yet if that is a new trend or tonight is the anomaly. Also when it doubt just take the over, the lone exception the Loyola Marymount game.

You are just negative to be negative at this point. There are other ways to say we played an imperfect game and have room for improvement.
