What about Mac, if he is gonna stay in PE good graces he needs to improve as well? I just don't see Mac's shot selection improving enough to approach 40%....hopefully he proves me wrong....maybe by junior year... Shot selection is something that coaches work on constantly with players, and therefore improves with experience - especially for a guy like Mac who could get (and take) pretty much any shot he wanted in high school. I absolutely expect his shot selection to improve.

I don't expect his shot selection to improve but I do expect him to improve....meaning I expect him to get better at making those pull ups off the bounce and get better at taking defenders off the bounce....but thinking you can hit every shot or take anyone off dribble doesn't go away....imo

Thinking you can do it at some level may never go away - but to think the coaches can't get him to recognize what shots he should vs. should not be taking? Of course they can. Pretty much every college player has to learn that, it is one of the basis that coaches work on.

Watch this space for Mac's TWO point percentage to make a jump. We're in a great position for him to get more easy chances moving towards the basket and fewer shoulder down end of shot clock attempts.

Pretty much every college player has to learn that, it is one of the basis that coaches work on. Add to that that he won't be expected to shoulder as much of the offensive load this coming year. He can afford to be more picky and force fewer shots. Yurt7 will have plays for him, as will Josh and that's at a bare minimum.

He seems to enjoy dunking on people. What’s not to like? 😋

The kid he dunked on here, Terry Armstrong, is a hell of an athlete.

Did not make the Rivals final top 150 for the class of 2019.

He is ours! The number of stars or ranking doesn't matter!

I'll judge Myron on how he plays for us. How highly ranked he is is pretty irrelevant

How highly ranked he is is pretty irrelevant It’s easy to discount rankings, but let’s ask the question: when was the last impact player at Georgetown ranked outside the top 100, excepting Jon Wallace? 247 had Akinjo at 119 (but composite at 90). McClung was much, much lower, and Leblanc was 98 (but 123 for the composite). Sure, few Georgetown players outside of the top 100 recently have had an impact, but that's conflating JT3's ability to find diamonds in the rough and Ewing's. Two very different approaches.
