This is huge. Balances class and keeps him from a rival in Xavier.
Love this signing! Needed another wing desperately.
Myron was on his official same time as Chris Ledlum the weekend of the open practice — coincidentally wound up sitting next to him and staff downstairs at the Tombs— if this is true, Tombs wings definitely get an assist — he loved them!

Zero verification regarding Gardner's commitment to Georgetown! Not via Spire Institute, nor their Director of Basketball or any major outlet. Gardner himself has no social media presence.
I'll defer until we here from a major outlet or at least the school, basketball program or grassroots team...

Impressive that, despite the creation of the transfer portal, Georgetown still manages to keep that stuff under wraps

Many of you may have seen this mixtape before but if you notice, at the 50 second mark, Myron is DOMINATING Scottie Barnes(5*) & Vernon Carey Jr. (Duke) whom we may face in the Empire Classic Wounded Warrior tourney.

As stated this is a very nice get for the staff, he reminds me of Naji Marshall...

For those that like to cast aspersions at Orr as a recruiter, it appears from this thread that Orr was heavily involved with landing Myron.

I just can't believe we've been able to recruit anyone while Pat prepares for his role at the draft lottery. They must have just fallen into his lap.

Mind blown. I definitely didn’t think we were still in the running for Gardner. His official visit was ages ago. Nice job staff and welcome Myron. We got some dogs!

It's a crime that this post is only 10 pages! My belief is that he brings a skillset that we haven't had since Trawick. Big body guard/forward that can guard multiple positions, handle the ball, rebound in traffic and is not likely to be pushed around anytime soon. Add that to an underrated offensive game and we have a "winning" player similar to how I feel about Leblanc.

Etomic, it is definitely good to hear. This young man presents no chatter. There is so much recruitment activity and scrutiny around that team. Myron Gardener is balling, he is what's needed next year. We've got to keep a presence around him. Patrick should visit soon. Just my thoughts. Patrick may have already visited. Stealth mode recruit + stealth mode recruiter = *crickets* BING - ******* - O!

The era of the Charmin-soft Hoyas is over! Bless their hearts. Congrats to Myron, his family, Pat and the coaching staff!

I remember when some posters were saying hopefully we get 2 out of 3 of the Ledlum, Alexander, Gardner trio and I thought that was delusional. I was wrong and whomever decided to leave to open this schollie I wish them the best.
