Joe Cremo guard UAlbany. 45% from 3, 17+ points a game. Kid plays with his heart on his sleeve, but not sure he is a Big East level kid. why not BE? 45% from 3... the baskets are the same height and width... Heart on his sleeve? Perfect. Pat is looking for those players. No more scared-to-mess-up players.

Not sure he is athletic enough - but the guy is not just a shooter, not afraid to take it inside. He wants to compete at a higher level than America East. Might be worth kicking the tires.

To have a player like that in your front court coming off the bench.... Hoyas would have the best front court in the Big East.

Heck, I'll take him. Even if we have to develop Blair. I like Blair. Plays with heart. Hopefully, he, along with Pickett, can develop into deadly assassins.

Would definitely take that Joe Cremo kid. He's not a pure point guard, but he is an experienced combo guard who can really shoot and scored efficiently. He would play a lot, one way or another.

Him too. For the love of god I just want a guard who can handle the ball and hit a three pointer. Would definitely take that Joe Cremo kid. Nichols could score when he was hot - but he had more than one game that he was benched for long stretches because of lack of effort on defense.

Big John got the handle that he didn’t recruit hard or lost the passion for recruiting after awhile but look at Jerry Nichols: highly coveted shooter that scored in bunches. He was a prized recruit. There were several recruiting “misses”. How much of a miss can be debated but Milton Bell, Anthony Tucker, Grady Mateen, Jonathan Edwards , Michael Tate-Venson, David Edwards and a bunch of others.

Jonathan ended up being a big recruiting miss, but only because he hurt (his back?) freshman year and was never fully healthy on the court. I wonder what a modern day Strength and Conditioning program would do for a guy like him.

Agree on Jonathan, who made All Rookie team before the injury. ALso, Tucker and David Edwards were very solid college players after leaving Gtown.

Every player listed clearly had some talent. Did some research regarding Mateen: Big John signed him sight unseen. Edwards would have progressed to be a force. He had the “HOYA” mentality.
