Wyatt walker out of Samford, 6-9, 240 lb big. Transfer with 2 years of eligibility remaining, and immediately available (per tweet). Typical pest that gives our bigs trouble... great passing... intriguing.

2 year starter, at Samford..., but still. 2 year D-1 starter. eligible immediately. 11/6 as a freshman 13/10 as a soph. how thin we are up front right now, take all day. we lose 15 and MD after next year at the latest. couldn't hurt to have this young man as depth.

Definitely intrigued, and would help with class balance, joining Jagan in the class of ‘20.

He had great numbers his freshman and sophomore years. I guess the big questions are how does he do against better competition and whether the injury will have lasting effects. If he could put up similar numbers at Georgetown, though, he’d be a no brainer.

He doesn't look like he gets much lift, but he's quick with the ball, good with both hands, a willing defender, and a superior passer. If his knee problem is not an issue, I like him. He's a great fit class wise and I do think he'd provide quality depth at the very least, and probably a lot more. Of course, the first thought I had looking at the posted film was what a great fit he'd have been in JT3's offense .

Shot 53% from 2, 38% from 3, and 89% from free throw. Very good shooting numbers and tells me he’s not just a chucker. Downside is he averaged 3.2 assists vs 3.8 turnovers, so seems like a undersized SG rather than a true point.

There should be other guys we target ahead of Calixte, but no reason not to put a feeler out.
Getting these one year band-aids that supply depth like Trey Dickerson is totally fine with me.

Hopefully in another 2 years we have a balance of upper and lower classmen to build a team of 4-year guys (with an occasional early entry stud)that re-stocks each year.

We should not recruit anyone who wears bowling shoes to play hoops.

Corey Evans @coreyevans_10
Scott has his full release with no restrictions; early interest from Nevada, Dayton, Georgetown, Arizona and more
Kennesaw State top scorer, James Scott, has asked for his release to transfer, per source | High-majors expected to pursue

He also doesn't have a great assist rate, which makes me think he's not a point guard "floor general" type. Maybe he'd help on defense and in other ways? Also, is he really eligible immediately? He's listed as a sophomore.

Would he be a sit 1 play 2 transfer?
