Language is vague. It simply says transfers need to have an average of 3.0 to be able to play. It doesn’t a 3.0 before the transfer. Thus potentially summer classes at Georgetown could lead to a 3.0 or even fall semester for a spring semester start. It’s all speculative at this point.

Why wouldn't I just give a kid a bunch of nothing classes to get him eligible then? Seems like if it's not at time of transfer that opens the door to all types of shenanigans. Can't see how that would work.

Point Guard. Looks pretty guard.

Isabelle shot 34.5% from three which isn't great, but not horrible. He's also pretty efficient (111.7 O rating) with extremely high usage (which would almost certainly go down at Georgetown). He shot 54.6% from two, doesn't turn it over much, and is an excellent defensive rebounder generally but especially for a guy who is 6'1. I know we have Akinjo and Mac, but they are both freshman, and this guy could add depth. I say take a look at him.

We need front court help now...especially with Derrickson gone and uncertainty surrounding Govan and Yurt7...

Are there any transfers still available that could step in to somewhat replace Derrickson?

Frontcourt help would be nice but with our last spot I'd rather take BPA and in today's guard heavy world another PG would be perfect. Would allow Mac/Moseley/Blair to focus on only the 2/3.

I would be ok with either a point or a pf at this point. Mourning, Walker, LeBlanc and Carter gonna have to be ready to play this yr.

I agree that with the uncertainty up front, we need to get a big with that last spot.

His conference's Defensive POY, plus he has some moves down low and good hands... Intriguing... is Yurt7 available???

I would think unfortunately he will be looking for more than 10-15 minutes backing up Jessie. It would be a hard sell I think for Ewing in that regard.
This would be a great addition if he was willing to take that role.
This is not an exaggeration he dominated Bamba when they played in Texas. Had 15 and 11 and monster block on Bamba. Bamba had 4 and 7.
He has gone from a horrible FT shooter (59.3%) to a very good one for a big (74.5%). He also doubled his blocks per game last season from the prior one.

New grad transfer available. I would be surprised if St. John's, Butler, and maybe Xavier don't get involved in recruiting him. Would be a good fit for all 3...answers needs for all 3 programs (particularly St. John's and Butler) in the upcoming season.
