I'm sure this is all a result of Smithfield, RI (population 21,430) really putting together a dynamic NIL program leveraging all of Smithfield's great industry and creating great branding opportunities and not anything else.

As a resident of Smithfield at one point. Every city not named Newport or Kingston is basically one city. They are all Providence suburbs.

Remember when recruits would be put off by a school being charged with significant NCAA violations? I guess that era has passed as well.

Remember when other schools would be put off in hiring assistants from a school charged with significant NCAA violations? Seems kind of like a resume plus at this point.

TC you know the HC eats the most of that blame pie. Unless the assistants are actually caught holding the bag for lack of a better term. Nickleberry hasn't been blamed personally of any wrongdoing. At least I haven't seen anything posted saying otherwise.
