At this point, a win constitutes a road trip that doesn't involve a multi car pileup on I-95.

too soon to look forward to another bad game against bad opponent that we'll likely lose to.

A loss will pretty much assure that we will miss the NIT again.

Just being realistic!
Even if we beat them, I can't see us winning at Seton Hall or vs. Nova, nor getting more than one game in the BET. I sense our season ending on March 9.

Better stated, a win would keep hopes alive that we could make an NCAA bid. That's glass is half full stuff for the delusional fans that we have.

Are the Garden bars serving bourbon before the noon tip-off? Asking for a friend.

I think after tonight, even the most delusional among us know that the only path requires winning the BET.
I think after tonight, we all realize we have no chance of that happening.

A win in MSG would be nice, especially since we're not likely to earn it in a few weeks.

You know I have answered you about this multiple times. At this point I think it is obvious that we need a different coach. Even after last night I have doubts it will happen yet, but there is no reason to think this mess is changing next year.

We have to win the BET to have any chance. We blew it last night. At least with the BET, it's a goal to play for something.

You cant even be delusional. No team with 15 losses has ever made the NCAA as an at large, and do you really think they will start that trend with a team that lost to DePaul at home? It's time to shut down the tourney chances thread It's rather simple...

Can somebody create a google sheet for posters' views on the coach and share it with eagle? He seems to attack people who have agreed with him 40 times already. Please color those who wish to fire JT3 in "green", and those who wish to retain him in "red".

Not going to lie, I really want them to win and have a chance Tuesday to pull off an upset and make the NIT (which I think they would at potentially 17-16).
This team needs a postseason regardless of what happens this offseason.

I think it's 50/50 whether we win on Saturday. As always, I hope our guys get the win. Hard to get worked up one way or the other as a fan, though, even for me. We've taken a lot of tough blows as a fan base over the last few years but the DePaul loss on our home floor was just a whole new level of ugly for me. I'm not surprised, per se, but watching us languish through a meaningless 9-10 game in the Big East in front of a lifeless crowd was just too much.
So, I hope we win. I'll watch the game. I'll cheer them on. Just hard to be excited about where we are.
