Best way for me at this point to watch a Georgetown game is DVR. Set it to 4x fast forward and watch them lose in 10 minutes. You can actually just DVR one game and watch it over and over with just about the same result.

Tonight's performance was abysmal. While I don't think we have nearly the talent that most on here think we have, we certainly did not play nearly as well as we should have. The turnovers were infuriating, the defense was atrocious, and we couldn't hit shots. Terrible.

Tough loss. That one hurt.
Not much that can be done when players shoot that badly. We had so many open looks and just could not hit the broad side of a barn. Scoring less than sixty points will not get it done.
Derrickson in particular for my money killed us early. He had good looks inside and out and could convert nothing. When one of your best players starts the game like that, you are in trouble.
Nonetheless, the hyperbole here is amazing, and really comical. It was a terrible game. It is shaping up to be a rough season- the SECOND (not tenth) such season in a row (GASP). As fans, there is nothing left to do but shake that one off and get fired up for the next one. I am not giving up, and I will be watching every game for the rest of this season- and the rest of my life- even if they all look like this one. I hope and trust that they will not. GO HOYAS.

Without JTIII next year, what do we have as a team that won't be worse than this year? and will continue to be horrible for 2-3 years I don't think JT3 is going anywhere but if he did I think we'd take a step way back before things got better. LOL. A step way back from what?

Gtown came into tonight's game 1-5 ATS in their last 6 gms...tonight will 1-7 ATS At least we can try to cash in on this. Would make watching this more bearable. No complaints my friend...I have. The trends are just too strong.. It will soon be a year since the Hoyas beat a team other than St. Johns or DePaul in the Big East Also the team is 1-15 in their last 16 Big East gms. Beating St. Johns and & UConn back to back is fools gold.

Donny Marshall almost calling III out Lavin was about to, but held his tongue. That's the fraternity. You really could see Lavin so wanted to say something but knew he couldnt. When Donny said he felt bad for III the studio host said what most of us would say " Are you serious?" Thats exactly what i was thinking as he said it. Understood why Donny said it but no one made III take the job. And he has made quite a good living doing it...

Good breakdown by Marshall of what's going on at Georgetown. What did he break down? To me it just sounded like he was saying things look bleak at the moment (thanks, Captain Obvious), but he was not really analyzing anything. His main sentiment was feeling for JT III and the program, both of whom he seems to sincerely respect. Just my take...perhaps it sounded different to others.

Beating St. John's should be expected but I get nothing is expected around here.

Three field goals in ten minutes. Yet, no time for Cameron, Mourning, et al. Don't get that one neither.

I'm not where you are just now--haven't shaken this one off and won't for a bit--but I applaud your spirit. In the midst of a season, even a season like this one, I'll be trying to find a way to keep getting ready to support these guys as best I can.

He clearly held back on giving the proper criticism to the Coach. Everyone wants to blame everything but the coach. All of this is on him. There are no excuses.

After a tough 1 pt loss at the raucous AllState Arena, Providence gets a break in the schedule with a trip to the friendly confines of the Verizon Center.

That it used to be the standard bearer for the league but now isnt. That his change from the Princeton offense to whatever it currently is is not working. He also said he felt bad for the head coach. WTF? Awkward.....

Anybody out there wants to defend JTIII, please I want to hear the excuses. Everything is terrible from recruiting, Princeton offense and zero defense. 2003: "But we were a #4 seed some years ago..." Don't forget it those NCAA Tourney losses is a crap shoot and bad luck...the Hoyas will get to the Sweet 16 someday

Sadly, I really felt that this game was a must win to have any chance to be above .500 and have a chance at a NIT bid this year. Is that anything to brag about, absolutely not, and if anything it shows just how far this program has fallen in the past 4-5 years.
I never ever thought that this program would go back to back below .500 seasons. We never even sunk that low under Craig's leadership from 1999-2004. Last year JT III could use the injuries to White, Campbell, Agau, Hayes, as excuses. It will be tough to defend this season final record at the banquet in April.
