The game basically is decided on who gets the ball after this review. Xavier ball - but they overlooked Kaleb getting knocked down trying to grab the board.

Winning at Providence on the 4th is going to be a tough task. It'll be fine - I'll be there. They ALWAYS win when I am at the Dunk. *ducks and runs*

see, it seems to me if you missed who the ball was out on AND missed the foul call as well, just stick with the original call. horrendous.

Can't win in this league giving up 80 - have to hold teams to 65 or less.

Props to Peak for playing through injury.

This is actually the toughest matchup for us in the Big East, because Xavier is better suited than any team in the league to exploit our softness, suspect ball-handling and weak perimeter defense.
This is a very good Xavier team. But the issues have always been the same - we are soft on defense and awful on both ends of the floor in late-game situations. We haven't done well in close games since Wallace was our PG.
But you can't tell me if Chris Mack takes our guys for six months, they aren't playing a different brand of ball.

No, he know she how to play the position. He's a true point guard. But he is even worse than Campbell on defense. Not sure about that but Mulmore actually provides value on the offensive end. Tre does once every 15 games when he's on from deep.

We looked much better on the boards and on defense at the hoop. Need to improve on switches on picks, offense and defense from the PG position. Pryor can't get early fouls. We saw last loss what happens with no Peak, now we saw a limited pryor

If we had gotten the home cooking almost every team in basketball gets, we would have won that game. I know it's an excuse, but there is a reason it is very hard to win on the road in CBB. But, not against us, because in a close game, the other teams gets to the double bonus in like 8 minutes.
Watch this Creighton game and we'll see if Nova gets 10-12 fewer fouls. Im guessing no.

Definitely better than their last outing. It doesn't get easier, so we have to be better.

Not sure about the officiating advantage of playing at home but in regards to a home court advantage from a crowd perspective, the only advantage Georgetown has is they aren't playing on the road.

Proud of the effort from the guys. So close. Have to move on and get ready for the next game.

Every single time Xavier drove the lane, the whistle blew, whether we fouled or not. It was frustrating to watch. And that frustration turned to anger when we didn't get to the line on our end for the same things they got to the line on their end. To me, that went a long way towards deciding the game

I just hate that. And, what can you really do? It's like the whistle is blown before Sumner even got to a spot. If you are going to call that in the last 5 minutes, the game will be different.

The possession Rodney hit the three and we got within one, sumner drives the lane and the whistle blew before any contact. I knew the game was over at that point
