We're not going to be #1. We'll be hovering around #10 if we bring Troy in, and that'll go down as the rest of the 5-stars make their choices. I'm not complaining. That'd be amazing for us, and put us in a great position next year.[/quote I think we should be #1, at least for a week or two before more 5*s commit. But we won't because both Tremont and Troy will drop in ranking before they graduate. Punishment for choosing Gtown....

If we are able to wrangle Troy Brown, I could care less where we are ranked. Personally, I'd be ecstatic!

This kid is announcing in 3 days and there is essentially no chatter on this board. I am confused. Are we assuming not likely to pick G'town?

Well, any regular denizen of this site has to be thinking, "There is no way we are getting Brown --things have been going too well, with the Waters and Walker pick-ups." LOL In reality, there hasn't been much chatter anywhere. This one has been kept close to the vest. I have to think he chooses Cal, but that is just random speculation based on no real information at all.

It does not seem that there is much chatter anywhere on his choice. This may bode well for us as we seem to do better with low key style commitments. To me, no news is good news.

Yesterday another "expert" predicted Oregon on 24/7 - last 3 have guessed the Ducks. That's about as much news as there is.

Yea, the less chatter there is the better. the truth is unless there is something abnormal that happens like for instance Tremont's random visit these experts do not know much if the family plays it right. Seems this family is very involved in the decision which of course is great for us because every mother loves GU.

Hopefully Tremont is helping - in Troy's ear about how well they would fit together on the court, the kind of damage they could do, etc.

Hold on... you're posting a link to your own post on another board and playing it like it's insider info? Plus on the other board you call the the guy you are promoting info from "a bozo"? Uhhhh... next please.

I dont get it either unless he plans to go back to the same school after the NBA. He is a definitely one and done player. What school academically really will not factor in I think.
