A sports writer for a CT paper tweeted that they are already there - I think it will be fine. I also saw a tweet saying it's a near sell out. Given the weather, my guess is that it'll be less than full, but Connecticut will have a good crowd, likely.
Keep in mind, the AAC stinks, so this is one of Connecticut's best matchups of the year from a fan perspective.

If the storm shifts north, it could get bad, but right now it seems to be a less than 50% chance.

Good question. In New York, they often have local news coverage of storms, too. I am not sure if the subchannels are carried by cable TV or not. I know that sometimes WCBS TV puts alternative programming on WLNY, which is carried by most cable providers. So at least in NY, I am guessing it'll be on one of those two options. Most area cable systems carry the 9.2 subchannel, WUSA has a listing of applicable channel numbers. www.wusa9.com/story/entertainment/2016/01/21/wusa9-alternate-channel-numbers/79136232/Satellite systems don't carry subchannels. Thanks. Very helpful. No HD but will be able to watch the game.

Force the team to watch the 1996 BET Final before the game to get them fired up. NOT that I am still mad about that one... So true...was at that game and still get Editeded just thinking of it. Its up there with Nova in '85....but almost worse because Iverson gave the game away and Nova really did play the perfect game.

You want to talk about memories of UConn? Nothing beats this one:
That was one of those "No no no... YES!" moments. Best ending to a game in the phone booth era and one of the top Hoyas moments I saw in person. That was far from a "no, no, yes" moment...it was a wide open jumper with 3 remaining on the clock....I was screaming at Roy to take that shot. Everyone else should've been, too
"No no no" because that was a team that could pass and I couldn't believe that the best they could do was to pass it back to Roy with so little time and that far out. Clearly we had better long distance shooters on the floor than Roy (he only took three 3-pointers in his entire four year Hoya career).
No doubt that he was wide open however and that the shot looked good the moment he squared up and it left his hand. Of such improbable circumstances great moments are made...

Kinda bull they are going to have this game tomorrow. There is a parking ban in Hartford tomorrow. True know one knows the impact of the storm but we can be getting 8-12 inches on the shore and 4-8 in Hartford and all hitting at game time. Don't expect a huge crowd if this happens. Kinda sucks. Not driving in a huge storm.

Come on now Rich you shouldn't have much of a problem getting up to Hartford dn't expect any accumulation until game time but the trip back could take a while depending where you're going. Don't expect it to minimize attendance by much at all.

I think its highly irresponsible that they have this game today. This game should be postponed till Sunday! Its a freakin blizzard with higher than predicted snow totals. The shoreline of CT where I live is expected to get 12 inches and Hartford 8 plus inches. Furthermore there is a parking ban for all of Hartford.. Great!! Factoring in 40 MPH plus winds its completly ridiculous that they put the fans lives in jeopardy and have this game. For me living in CT its rare for me to have a Hoya's game in my home state. My wife got me these tickets for xmas and spend over 300!! Don't even get me started on what a rip off it is to try to get tickets to any event these days.. Just kinda venting here. Do the right thing CT lets play Sunday!!!!!!

We've all been in situations where we got screwed because of the weather.

There is not one snowflake in Hartford yet according to friends who are there - nothing in the Boston area either. We leave shortly.
Definitely worse along the coast, including in MA.

no parking ban in Hartford until 5 pm. No snow until noon. Barely an inch in New Haven. 95 and 91 are clear.

I live on the shore. There's already 2 inches at 9 am with 12 predicted. It then climbs up to Hartford. Kinda reckless to leave my house with a foot coming. Not worth it. I will not be using my tickets. It's just funny one bad day and it's today. Hope we win I just hope it's not a classic now ha.

Play today, the players are all there, and I need something to watch to avoid going stir crazy! Sitting here in East Georgetown, we’ve got about 15 inches outside and the snow is supposed to keep falling through tonight!

Jeez I've driven in snow to Hartford just to watch a Syracuse game in Hartford on tv when blackedout in Boston in the early 80s.
