You want to talk about memories of UConn? Nothing beats this one:
That was one of those "No no no... YES!" moments. Best ending to a game in the phone booth era and one of the top Hoyas moments I saw in person.

That was far from a "no, no, yes" moment...it was a wide open jumper with 3 remaining on the clock....I was screaming at Roy to take that shot. Everyone else should've been, too

I remember watching Thabeet retreat back into the lane and Hibbert didn't budge. I had a feeling right then he was going to get it back and take a 3. Tie game, clock winding down, there was no downside to taking that shot and Roy always had a nice stroke though he didn't use it much. Definitely one of my favorite Hoya moments of all time.

Quick note on the TV: WUSA 9 in D.C. will be doing continuing news coverage of the blizzard this weekend. If that coverage continues through the Georgetown game, the CBS game telecast would be bumped to WUSA's 9.2 subchannel.

I deleted the email, but If I remember it right, the Hoop Club is recommending people gather at Steam City Brewery, just a few blocks away from XL, after the game.

Does anybody think the game will be held? 5600 flights cancelled today and tomorrow. Other than dog sled, will the Hoyas make it to Conn?

I expect the team made the proper arrangements to get up there, even if they had to leave early today and take a bus, which is only about a 6 hour ride

I think someone commented earlier that the team was leaving this morning, which shouldn't present a problem. It is after 1 pm now and it just started snowing in DC (I'm in Silver Spring, MD). I'd be more worried about the team getting back for the game on Tuesday v. Creighton and Creighton getting into town!

I assumed they were going to Reagan, but 95 makes sense too.

I am cautiously optimistic for this game, however fwiw KenPom has designated this our 2nd least likely win from here on out. He gives us a 27% chance of winning.

Good question. In New York, they often have local news coverage of storms, too. I am not sure if the subchannels are carried by cable TV or not. I know that sometimes WCBS TV puts alternative programming on WLNY, which is carried by most cable providers. So at least in NY, I am guessing it'll be on one of those two options.

Most area cable systems carry the 9.2 subchannel, WUSA has a listing of applicable channel numbers. www.wusa9.com/story/entertainment/2016/01/21/wusa9-alternate-channel-numbers/79136232/Satellite systems don't carry subchannels.
