Serious question about Bentil...can anyone see him leaving after this year? The dude has been killing it. I look at him vs a Skal from UK (who in most mocks is a late lotto pick) and I'd take Bentil all day over Skal. It always comes back to the production vs potential argument and it seems like NBA GM's draft on potential most of the time

Ok, I am reading ESPN and Josh Hart is in talks for Wooden award. The only thing that makes me madder than this season continuous fouling is Josh Hart. I am not sure of the back stories. Melo and Bentil, From what I read via recruiting info is that GTown was aggressively pursing Melo, Bentil. Just lost out. But Hart they passed on. Hart wanted to attend GTown. Its been said that they passed on him for Cameron. I think Josh totally fits the mold for this system. Every time I seem him play it makes me mad. One of the Hoyas biggest misses.

He's having a monster year, and there's no way they're going to be as good (or get the national attention) next year w/o Dunn.

As I stated before I fully understand what you're saying but I get why folks post about it also, it's a sore subject no doubt.. To be honest again I think the folks who don't care to talk about it any longer should let it go.. If a poster brings it up just ignore it and swallow hard like I try to do..

Stock will never be higher.

Kid doesn't play here and all that noise on the board isn't going to change that. IMO fans should just Support the kids that are here and let it go already..

i just find the people who feel the need to go back to Hart to have a strange need to whine and complain about something from years ago. It sucked. It happened. We've got a team today. If there's a recruit you think the team will take for granted/mess up recruiting like happened w/ Hart, mention it in that recruit's thread. Otherwise, what is the point? Why scratch at that scar? we all have already taken the medicine, no one who is on this board is unaware Josh Hart was for a long, long time a strong Georgetown lean. why bring it up for at least the third time this season?

Now, that Peak has arrived....not the opportunity cost we once thought it was.

People also forget that people Like LJ lose with grace and we don't have to worry about him stomping on a defenseless player or hit them in the balls. Makes sense that III didn't think he was Hoya material.

I know he has had a handful of on court controversy, but much of the same could be said about Jabril and we loved him. With regard to LJ, part of what appealed to him about Georgetown was playing time. He knew DSR was transitioning to the point and that he would be the guy.

I agree with your premise, but no, most of the same can't be said about Jabril. The closest thing he had to any of Josh's incidents is the one where he got so excited he tried to get excited and bumping his chest but instead ended up bumping over some frail kid from Eastwrn Washington. Bril could be accused of playing too hard sometimes, but he was never a dirty player. I like Hart as a player a lot but he fact of the matter is that it's in his personality to take cheap shots and play dirty im general. He doesn't always get caught, but the few incidents he has had had nothing to do with the game action at all he just acted like a brat. Don't mean to call you out just never thought I'd hear you talk so badly about one of our own. Jabril was nowhere near the punk Hart can be sometimes.
