The staff must really want him. Guess that means he's a priority vs a grad transfer guard

Right, but I think Jagan is taking one The two open scholarships are after Jagan, at least according to the scholarship tables here on HT and the scholarship tables referenced by CasualHoya. Hoyas have one open scholarship this year and two scholarship seniors, and one commitment for next year.

I guess I never realized we had an additional open scholarship not in use this year. Makes sense now though considering we pursued some grad transfers late this past summer and struck out. Thanks for letting me know. With that being the case I'm all for them going after Thompson. Ik it's late but they may be gaining some serious traction here

he prep basketball team defeated longtime rival and NEPSAC Class AAA leader New Hampton, 62-56. Brewster was led by uncommitted guard Alpha Diallo (New York, NY) with 15 points, while Wichita State-bound CJ Keyser (Baltimore, MD) contributed 12 points. Senior forward Taurean Thompson (New York) added 10 points. Uncommitted point guard Ryan Beddeo (Valencia, CA) played great off the bench, including 2 huge three-pointers in second half.

Can anyone recall the largest halftime deficit in their memory? Would save me some time combing through the media guides...

Would be nice to land him, if only to help equalize the classes a bit more (and, you know, talent is always nice to have). I don't like the idea of a one person class/
