Aren't we likely the third dog in this race? It's nice to be in so many final 3's, but it doesn't mean much if you never make the final 1.

You're going to lose more recruiting battles than you win by a large margin so don't take it personal.
If Gtown can get him to visit they have a good shot...

He'll go back to Baylor, I honestly don't see Eubanks choosing the Hoyas.

I'm sure Baylor is the school to beat for his services just based on familiarity. I hope the staff can get him on campus. I know I'm in the minority but I hope we get Kobe over Woods and Norvell. I think he is a better fit skill set wise, physically more prepared to play (because is 19 and would be 20 before he plays next year) and also matches up better with Mosely in the 16 class and the roster going forward then Woods and Norvell.

Baylor is where everybody thinks he will end up for sure but if I was Gtown and I really wanted the kid I wouldn't be afraid to recruit against either of those teams... That's why I say if they can get him for a visit they might have a shot, plenty of playing time to offer of course. Might be right regarding the last part especially regarding Norvell. I don't trust his shot mechanics at all, love his makeup, but not a huge fan of his game.

zagsblog.com/articles/kobie-eubanks-considering-three-schools/“Right now, I like what Georgetown has to offer. I’m still looking to visit Texas A & M as soon as I get done with some paperwork. I’ll still look at my options with St.John’s and Auburn and a few others, it’s one day at a time right now.”
Eubanks twice re-opened his recruitment. He de-committed from Baylor and Alabama, both due to academic situations beyond his control

His shot looks good to me with good follow through and elbow in good alignment. Seems to have very good range as well, don't know what type of player he's going to be at the next level but appears to be a shooter.

IMO He lacks quickness, his shot mechanics and shooting consistency is all over the place. He doesn't have the physical tools (length and athleticism) to be an immediate impact kid at a High Major. I think he is more of a Mid Major prospect that won't make an impact at a HM like Georgetown until maybe his Sophomore but probably his Junior year.

He would get good playing time at A&M with House leaving after this season

With Akoy out for the season Kobe is a must, IMO! I was on the fence at first only because I felt that Riyan Williams could come off the bench a provide some minutes but now I think we really need Kobe's services. Kobe's outside shot could pull the defense out of the paint freeing up centers.

HOYAS definitely in contact. Don't be surprised if a visit is set up soon.

I have no inside info whatsoever but can't imagine Kobie playing in the 2015-16 season. He is not going to be in college basketball shape or conditioning nor have any understanding of offense or defensive principles. Asking him to give any major program solid minutes entering conference play is to much to ask any prospect. Probably a better plan to let him get comfortable academically and in tip top shape for the beginning of the 2016-17 season. Why waist a year of eligibility for a semester when he won't be physically or mentally ready to compete at his highest level.
