So many things can happen between now and then, It's not as if we as internet posters see things the staff does not....

Too early to hit the panic button.
But I certainly did not anticipate a down recruiting year for the 16'class after back to back excellent classes, especially with the IAC on the way...

Agreed YaBoy, mostly based on your excellent scouting reports/ video links. He should rise up the rankings from what I've read, and even if he doesn't, he passes the eye test. I just want more

Think Jagan is going to be Jabril 2.0 in many ways. Not a natural scorer per se, but a lock down defender who can run, slash and finish at the rim. He's more fluid then jabril as well. At the end of the day, Jagan is going to get his...and by the time he's done, wouldn't be surprised to see him shooting the ball well. He's already likely a better shooter than Jabril was at the same stage.

Right now, it doesn't seem that the Class of 2016 will be on the same level as the last few, but that is okay if we simply turn it on in 2017 again. Mosely is a very nice player for 2016, and keep in mind that people become available in the spring after coaches get fired, etc. Really, I think if we could add one more quality guard (for example, if Woods did pick us), that would actually be a really nice smaller class.

The IAC could make a major difference if you're competing for a recruit with Seton Hall, but remember, most major programs already have this. Texas A&M does: The facility is home to athletes while on campus providing them practice, training and study areas all in one facility. The practice gyms replicate the playing court in Reed Arena, including using the same type basketball goals, court flooring system, lighting levels and the clear height from the floor to the bottom of the suspended scoreboard system above the court.
Amenities include everything for today's student athletes including LCD flat screen TVs wired for multi-media input and gaming systems in all areas of the building utilized by players including player lounges, locker rooms, training rooms and weight room."12thman.com/facilities/?id=6

I suspect that when Indiana implodes this year, Crean will be out of job and we may find our guard recruit that way.
I am in the camp that scratches his head over our guard recruiting as well, but realize a late pick up will happen if we strike out in the fall.

Bullet dodged in my book. Nothing about this young man's history said Georgetown. I fully understand that kids need opportunities but Georgetown is not for everyone and everyone is not for Georgetown.

Not that this wouldn't have happen anyway but I foresee Riyan Williams coming off the bench and contributing more then most expected this year. So as I predicted the season before with Bradley Hayes, I believe that Riyan will be the missing link in the offense. We will need him to step up and give vital minutes when our other guards are tired or having an off night.

That and apparently Kaleb Johnson is playing way more like a guard than anyone originally expected. Wouldn't be surprised to see him getting serious minutes at the 2.
