Mims enjoyed a nice varsity campaign at Poly, and said he currently has offers from St. Johns and VCU, with early interest from Dayton, Georgetown, Kansas and UNLV.
“I think I’ve matured a lot over the [past] year,” he said. “I’ve gotten stronger, better at finishing and I’m taking better shots. … I’m trying to show [coaches] I’m a team player. I like racking up assists, I like rebounding, and I like scoring too, but I just want to do anything a coach asks me to. Anything they need me to do, I’ll do it.”

"Moses Brown, the 7-foot-1, 233-pound Class of 2018 big man from Archbishop Molloy, has added offers from Maryland and Florida in the last week.
A native of Hollis, Queens, Brown said Maryland assistant Bino Ranson is recruiting him and he plans to visit Maryland at some point but has no date set.
"I know they're a good team, they were No. 1 in the country at one point," Brown told SNY.tv."
Kansas, Indiana, Georgetown and Florida State have also reached out, while St. John's has also offered.
"I'm just trying to get stronger and more versatile," he said.

David Singleton 6’4 2018 combo guard The 2018 prospect out of Bishop Montgomery has displayed high major scoring ability thus far. In the pangos event he averaged 35.6 ppg per game notching over 40 points on 3 occasions. He has garnered interest from UCLA, Arizona ,Georgetown and host more Pac 12, Big East and AAC programs. David will remain on the prephoopers.com watch lists. Not sure when the above video was shot but in the bottom link he shows more athleticism and a more diverse game www.scout.com/player/203267-david-singleton/videos/MzAsODc4MDk3?year=2017

I saw something in 247 that a top 2018 player was visiting today but it's behind a pay wall. Does anybody know who it is?

2. The Class of 2018 isn’t looking very strong
Over the last two years, the Class of 2016 had a historically strong five-star crop of players while the Class of 2017 looks like it will have a lot of solid positional depth in the four-star range outside of point guards. Since I’ve now watched a lot of the top Class of 2018 prospects at Pangos, USA Basketball and NBPA Top 100 Camp the last three weeks, I feel safe in saying that the Class of 2018 doesn’t look very good. Outside of top prospect Marvin Bagley (who would be a potential No. 1 prospect in most classes), there just isn’t a lot of five-star talent that blows people away. One veteran scout said that this class was the worst he’s evaluated while many others in the grassroots basketball world have said similar things. There is obviously still plenty of time for players to improve or for new prospects to turn up, but as of right now, the Class of 2018 doesn’t have a lot of star power.
__________
Most of these comments are driven by the evaluations of the top prospects, not the middle..

www.hoopseen.com/news/general/201606/complete-rundown-new-2018-hoopseen-top-100-rankingsThe Boo Williams travel program hasn’t had the best of years over the past few travel seasons, though it could directly relate to the lacking amount of talent from the state of Virginia. Graduating Matt Coleman, a top-100 guard, from the program this summer, it seems that the 757-based program has found its star in Keldon Johnson. The ninth ranked sophomore is capable of throwing up 30 points on the scoreboard in a blink of an eye, just as he has done throughout the Nike EYBL circuit this spring. A consistent perimeter jumper is a need of Johnson’s, the younger brother of Georgetown sophomore forward Kaleb Johnson, yet the toughness, newly attained alpha-mentality, and two-way production skills make the 6-foot-5 wing an elite recruit within the 2018 class. Making a jump eight spots and now ranked second in all of the land, Zion Williamson enters the fray. The 6-foot-7 forward has grown over three inches over the past few months while adding more than 30-pounds to his physique. This time last year, the southpaw received James Harden-like comparisons; now he has some Draymond Green dimensions to him. The South Carolina native has picked up high-level offers in boatload amounts while dominating his opponents and after bringing home MVP honors from the prestigious NBPA Top 100 Camp last week, there aren’t many sure fire producers in all of America than Zion Williamson.
