When it comes to shooting I like to focus on results over form but dammm if this kid doesn't have both a gorgeous stroke with range and by the looks of both highlight films a nice handle as well... Hope Romey Talley's is on the squad the next 4 years... Where can we find some of his stats?

He'd be a very good addition to the squad as a walk-on.
Averaged 17+ ppg and 3 threes.
Played high-level ball in a great conference -- Naz Reid, Alanzo Frink, Kahlil Whitney, Marquis Nowell, Valdir Manuel, Tavon Jones are familiar names who all play in the conference (and it's only 5 teams).

Absolutely love reading things like this!! Obviously it's a great thing for the young man but it's tremendous for the program as well..

Assuming he does walk on, he'd also be the fifth high honors student and second valedictorian in the backcourt (Jagan being the first). That's pretty cool for the program. Wanted to point this out because when we start winning, the Post or Times will write a four-page "expose" about one of our players cheating on a biology test in 10th grade.

Welcome Romey! You seem like a young man who understands that you can be cool and care about school. Great choice for you and your family.

Would be a solid kid to add but he's not an addition yet.... I'm confused, why are we assuming he's walking on? He might not even want to keep playing basketball in college, and even then theres no guarantee he makes the team.

It does seem unclear, but maybe Patrick has agreed to have him on the team as a walk on, at least if he does decide to play hoops.

I never said he was a definite addition.. I said "Possible" .. but if he is great. Ive heard from someone in the Jersey circle that he intends to keep playing ball. Either way , I wish em well.

Out of curiosity, did he have any offers from any schools at all? Didn’t see anyone mention any, and seems odd for 17ppg in a good conference, plus a valedictorian.

I’ve coached against Talley. Talented kid. Definitely a walk-on. I know his grandfather, who is a ref In North NJ. Grandfather was a player in his day for Newark West Side HS
