Ah, but as Raftery teaches it is a "basketball move" to flail your arm back and upward 180 degrees behind your body in the direction of the face of the opposing player who just embarrassed you by rejecting your layup attempt.

And make sure to poke them in the eye causing a detached retina or blindness.

I think, after this episode following the Delgado leg whipping, that Josh Hart is going to find himself under increased scrutiny from the officials. It's like the "one bite rule" for dogs; the canine can get away with one, but will be deemed dangerous thereafter.

Anyone but Hart and I'd say this was paranoid. But he shouldn't even be playing.

I'm sure fans of other teams in the Big East have said the same thing about Jabril. Give me Jabril all day, every day and twice on Sunday.

The NCAA needs to look this over, and the BE needs to do something about the refs. This is getting ridiculous.

I'm pretty sure it was actually his elbow that went into Trawick's eye and the angle from above the forearm blocked the elbow contact. I cannot believe the refs didn't even look at it again. Although, of course they can go back and look at a phantom foul against us to see if it should be a flagrant. Just ridiculous. The officials were horrible both ways but it was because they started calling it in the second half in a way that would favor Nova. Disgusting.

For one minute there I thought it was deja vu all over again with an injured Jabril for some games.

He was having trouble seeing and all his moves after the injury were close to the basket and he seemed to be playing with the injured eye closed. The one perimeter shot he had was way off.

is this seriously a thread? Anyone who thinks that was intentional never played basketball.
Find something else to complain about. Hart's elbow wasn't close to being intentional.

Yup, wasn't his elbow at all. He threw his arm out there intentionally and hit him in the eye. He knew exactly what he was doing.

Jabril flirts with the line of over-aggressive and dirty in his worst moments. Hart has moments where he is so far over the line I question his motivations. You know Jabril does it to be an intimidating tough guy and all that bs. Because of this, he also is usually kept in check by the refs and not really given the benefit of the doub. Hart seems to just want to hurt guys and completely flies under the officials radar, which is a little disturbing.

Forget the NCAA, Wright should have suspended him.. Tonight though was just over-aggressive basketball, we see kids flailing their arms all the time trying to get calls.. He hit Jabril with his hand not an elbow, play on imo..

Can we just celebrate a really good win for once without manufacturing something to be mad about.

Any other player in the country and I would agree, but not Hart. It wasn't a natural body movement and these type of cheap shots are completely in character for him. He is good at selling dirty plays to look like accidents, I've seen plenty of players just like him and they know exactly how to play dirty while making it look accidental. I'm not buying it on that one.
