This displeases me. Any time this bunch gets ranked they take a big dump at center court and run around it cluelessly for 2 hours.
Just kidding - who cares at this point anyway. We are rolling toward Saturday night at msg.

Thank God we got the 2 seed and don't play Xavier in the first game of the tournament. Definitely hoping that Butler beats Xavier. Would much rather play Butler a 4th time than Xavier a 3rd time.

Glad to see us ranked again and higher than Boise State. Is their basketball court blue as well? Boise is no joke this year. They have one of the top pure scorers in the country in Derrick Marks, and are the only visitor to win at SDSU this year (no easy feat, Viejas Arena has been consistently ranked as one of the best home court advantages in the nation). And weirdly, BSU's court is pretty normal looking. I like seeing us ranked, but at this point I really don't care all that much. March makes me (and I assume all of us) nervous. Just win.

Nice to see us ranked again in the last poll that really matters - technically there will be a poll released next week, but everybody will instead be talking about brackets and NCAA seeding.
Yep, we generally haven't played well with the ranking this season, but hopefully that ends this week at MSG. Go Hoyas!

These rankings confirm that we will play and get smoked by Xavier on Friday night so suppose.

I want to play Xavier. We will beat them if we play again. Depaul and Seton Hall beat them. There is no reason for us not to figure them out. If we can't figure out Xavier then why do people think this year is any different than in past years.

Rankings? We don't need no stinkin' rankings. Just win Thursday, Friday AND Saturday.

If you're a Hoya fan who isn't chomping at the bit to play Xavier you can just get to steppin'. I'd much rather play X than Butler. We played very badly against them twice - part of that is the matchup but there's no doubt in my mind that we can beat them, and will. If we get the chance. Need to win Thursday first.

I actually agree with this completely. Also, as a fan, it would be much more interesting to watch us try to finally solve Xavier than it would to watch us slog our way through another contest against Butler--with whom we are very, very evenly matched--in order to go 3-1 against them. It just feels like Butler would even up the season series.

Actually, Bosie St. is one team I would definitely not like to play against in the tournament. They are big and their 3 point shooters are both accurate and tall. I think it is the type of team that gives the Hoyas fits.

Can this team handle being ranked??? Col. Jessep doesn't think so but I do. Two more wins in the BET and they are a solid top 20 team. No bad losses and a couple they coulda shoulda won that got away. I'm talking about you Wisconsin. DSR plays oh so well in his home town of Indianapolis. And where, by chance, is the Final Four this year? You guessed it. Incentive. Now get it done.

Glad to see us ranked again and higher than Boise State. Is their basketball court blue as well? Nat Burton is very disappointed you don't know what that court looks like.
