Concern is fine, just don't be alarmed. From your comment not to be alarmed, you must know something you are not willing to share with us. I am alarmed when an overweight starter with past academic problems is not going to be here for Kenner. Sounds like a personal problem....

Ed & rockhoya, those are speculative conclusions for which there is no objective basis. Classic Hoyatalk indeed. My program source says simply that he's not in town. No 'problem' was ever mentioned, nor should it be inferred.

Well, that comment is not appropriate either.

Well, that comment is not appropriate either. Umm, ok. MOD NOTE: feel free to PM one of us, but that comment falls squarely under one of our board posting rules.

No 'problem' was ever mentioned, nor should it be inferred. I live and work on campus and I believe have seen all of the players (walking from the townhouses/Leo's to the gym) except for Josh. So the report that Josh is simply not in town and that there's nothing to be concerned about seems credible to me.

None of those seem to be in conflict with my post. This one: Accusing another poster of having a "personal problem" is over the line (which is how it reads). May not have been your intent, and phrased differently would have been fine. If you'd like to discuss further, take it to PM rather than derailing this thread.

To change the subject: FLHoya are you going to resume your prodigious Kenner reports I'm semi-retired from recaps at this point. Between vacation, weddings, and closing/moving into a new house this summer, I'm actually busy every weekend except one during Kenner. I might come during that weekend, and maybe the semis/finals if I'm not working on the house. Kinda too bad, because this summer should be interesting with all of the incoming freshmen like it was in 2011. Fortunately, enough people are in the recapping business on message boards and Twitter these days that there should be plenty of info out there.

And you grows up and you grows up and you grows up! The excellent recaps will be missed - I'm just old enough where following a multiple 140 character message feed is annoying ...

What a stupid decision by the NCAA. I typically don't jump on them for their rulings but this one, after all of these years, seems pointless

Does anyone know for sure what the right schedule is today? The article on GUHoyas and the .pdf are different.

But man, THREE players on a team wanting to play summer league together is a travesty!
