Green has had a big start to his Sr. season, would have liked to see the staff get involved.. D'mitrik Trice is my next hope for 2016..

Clifton Powell Jr (Pinky's son) who visited over the summer is spending a prep year at 22ft academy Eleven days ago, like everyone else in the country, 22 Ft Academy (Greenville, S.C.) guard Clifton Powell Jr. saw the news of Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, Va.) forward Harry Giles III, a Duke signee who is ranked No. 1 overall in the ESPN 100, going down in the Warriors’ season-opening win with a torn ACL. Powell had known for months that he and his teammates were playing the Warriors, who are ranked No. 3 in the Super 25, at the Phenom Hoop Showcase and the news of Giles’ unfortunate injury didn’t change Powell’s and his teammates’ thoughts on the outcome. “We felt like we were going to win no matter who they had,” Powell said. “He’s a great player, but we were focused on how we were gonna play and that didn’t have anything to do with who was suiting up for them.” That introspective approach paid of Saturday when 22 Ft (4-1) shocked Oak Hill (3-1) 70-67. Eli Wright led 22 Ft with 20 points, Powell chipped in with 10 and Justin Miller added 13. http://instagram.com/p/60iaHLvXMx Recruiting starting to build for him as well picked up a Tulsa and Hampton offer with larger schools sniffing

I'm a Diallo fan but he doesn't appear to be the ball handling/shooter type of player this team will need next year.. This team needs ball handling/passing, I get that not having PW hurts but Dang!! I'm not posting this to throw shade at the staff in anyway, just trying to show that their are kids out there late in the process that can be had.. hoyatalk2.proboards.com/thread/28432/kj-feagin-pg-15KJ is doing pretty well at Santa Clara this season, his Pops wasn't blowing smoke about him at all.. He signed late to Santa Clara.. www.foxsports.com/college-basketball/kj-feagin-player-statsOtis Livingston is another kid that was mainly talked about on the HoyaReport site but he looks like he could have helped this season.. He signed very late to George Mason, in fact he was gonna prep a year & actually played in an aau tourney or 2 before being offered.. I watched some of his game against VCU & almost all of the game against St. Bonaventure, he's small but he can play.. A poster on Hoyareport who saw him play against kids like Briscoe & Mosely in HS kept insisting that he'd be better than Tre, unfortunately I think he was right with that prediction.. Here are his stats @ George Mason.. espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/player/_/id/3908867/otis-livingston-ii If I were on the staff, I'd make a hard push to see if Matt Turner(Blair Academy) had any interest in re-classing back to 2016.. I'd also get out to see D'mitrik Trice @ IMG, I'd put a nice chunk of change that he'll be a productive player for someone next season.. Ditto for Leland Green out of California..

I think the staff is going to make a late run at Thompson whose game I like, but he's going to end up at Providence. Ed Cooley just has to show him how they developed Ben Bentil. What ever happened to Goodluck Okonoboh after he left UNLV?

I agree that there's a lot to like about Diallo, but do you think his handle is good enough to be a primary ballhandler at the next level? We really need another recruit for next year who can drive and dish.

Shooting has been the knock on him Primary ballhandler as a Freshman is going to be extremely hard to find at this point but he could help a bit imo Would like the staff to look at Michael Weathers Pg out of the midwest with hm interest but grades may be an issue.. either way he is very talented and it appears Creighton has a leg up on him

I'm surprised that Goodluck hasn't committed somewhere with 2nd semester started almost every in the country. I wonder if he is going to wait until the late spring/summer to decide where he's going. I'm sure he is looking to go so where he would start as soon as he is eligible. If he did that he would probably have 3 years of eligibility left vs. 2.5 after sitting out all of next year. I don't think that is or was a concern for kid who was thought to be an NBA prospect coming out of high school.

TAUREAN THOMPSON, PF, BREWSTER ACADEMY, 2016: One of the best big men still left on the board within the current crop of senior prospects, Thompson hasn’t stopped developing his game or his physique. A physical presence straight out of the gates, the 6-foot-10 big man is capable of taking the ball off the glass and leading the break where he can then make the appropriate pass thereafter. He is excellent out of the high-post setting and can attack the basket off his right hand. Fairly athletic off of two feet within the painted area, the Brewster product has developed a back to the rim skillset where the big man can convert over either shoulder and with good touch, regardless of the physicality of the defense that he is seeing. With Kansas, Seton Hall, Xavier, Georgetown, and Providence on hand for him, Thompson finished with totals of 23 points, 16 rebounds, six blocks, and four assists in the close win. RECRUITING NOTES Spring visits will take place with Taurean Thompson as Providence, Kansas, NC State, Xavier, Syracuse, Seton Hall, and Georgetown stand out with the big man from Brewster. www.hoopseen.com/index.php/news/headlines/item/4109-hoop-hall-classic-diallo-brown-bamba-dominate-at-day-two?utm_content=buffer1a159&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer

Whats the deal with this kid, is it academics? Academics aren't a problem from everything I've read. He committed to ULAR early during his junior year because he was very close to the head coach and then he blew up this past spring and summer and Decommited this fall.
