Being called the top unsigned Senior in So Cal. Plays for Redondo Union who has started the season very hot beating a lot of High profile teams, Gorman twice and he recently hung 30+ on 5 star Malik Monk. Tough gritty kid who likes to defend and has a pretty nice stroke

The kid can play but I wonder if he's too similar to Mosley? He's not really a PG either and not a knock down shooter, but he plays solid defense, has good size, could possibly play the point in a "system" like Georgetown's and is a respectable outside shooter. The more I think of it he's probably better than Tre Campbell and the team needs guard depth so if I were the staff I'd pursue him.

Very interesting. No doubt he's the most talented player in the Illinois high school class of 2016. However, he's said to have major attitude issues and a number of local schools have shied away from recruiting him.

This kid is really young, not sure he's 17 yet and if he is, barely. Actually played on the 16u squad with Aamir Simms as a result. Will be interesting to see if they are interested in him as a 16 kid or 17 as there is talk of him prepping a year.. Solid prospect with a lot of upside..

Curtis Haywood entered the Beach Ball Classic as a little known player, however he left as a kid that is sure to get mid and high major schools calling.
It doesn’t make sense why Mustang High School (OK) wing Curtis Haywood came in with little college fanfare. He played this summer on Nike’s EYBL circuit with an Athlete’s First team that finished the summer 12-5. On that team, Haywood finished third in points (12.7) and third in rebounds (5.8). He also shot 33% from beyond the arc and averaged 2.1 assists per game.
aywood passes the look test, walking on to the court. He stands a legit 6’5” with a 6’11” wing span. When he plays you quickly notice his court IQ. He reads passing lanes very well on defense and he passes the ball extremely well from the wing. Haywood has a smooth quick stroke with deep range and gets out and runs well in transition.
It would not surprise us to see Power 5 schools get in the mix here, he is one of the better seniors left on the board.

6’5” Senior Curtis Haywood
Mustang High School (OK)
Haywood enjoyed quite the breakout during Beach Ball week. He came in with and up and down offer from Western Kentucky, but left as a player who should firmly be considered as a Top 150 type. During his four games he averaged 21 points on 56% from the field (36% from 3), 9 boards, 3.5 assists, and 4 steals per game. He has a 6’10” wing span, has great court sense, and a non-stop motor. With UNC Wilmington, South Carolina, and UNC Greensboro all in to watch him this week expect a big hike in his recruitment.

5. Redemption for Rakocevic? One of the biggest disappointments last spring and summer was the play of 2016 power forward Nick Rakocevic. Formerly a four-star prospect who ranked among the top 75 of the current senior class, Rakocevic was ineffective with his play on the summer circuit and as a result he fell out of the Rivals150 and saw his stock drop with college coaches. More recently, though, trusted sources in the state of Illinois tell us that the 6-foot-10 power forward at Westchester (Ill.) St. Joseph has returned to form. A good athlete who could face and shoot some, word is that Rakocevic is much more dedicated to producing as a rebounder and around the rim scorer and that the results have been impressive. Given his size and previously displayed potential, Rakocevic is going to earn himself another chance with many programs. Illinois is one that has been in touch, USC is taking a look, North Carolina has called to check on him, Indiana has kept tabs and many more are starting to reach out. basketballrecruiting.n.rivals.com/news/starting-five-

I agree with this, I believe the staff could clean up recruiting this conference...
