Disappointed that he hasn't played more. He has a good stroke. The lack of playing time for Mourning is baffling and upsetting.

Who can't relate to this? Best of luck to Reggie in all that he pursues. The character and dedication that he's displayed will serve him very well in whatever he chooses.

I see a solid coaching career in store for Reggie. But whatever he does, he will make his alma mater proud.

Now that he is graduated, let's start a fund to help Reggie get another pair of pants.

I think this just shows you what a great man JTIII was. Cameron quit the team because of teammates bickering and the reality that his playing time was going to be reduced his senior year (When Rodney Prior came in). But III convinced him to rethink it and take on more of a assistant coach role off the bench his final year. Every player even the 12th man still thinks they are going to make the NBA, so playing time is very important (hence why everyone transfers with a lack of it). III could see that Cameron wasn't going be in the NBA or much of a pro yet was able to gently steer Cameron to coaching. Now Cameron is on the start of a new journey that III foresaw and helped steer.

I think a transfer year could have benefited him, but he would have missed out on the GU diploma if that was important to him. Great to see he had a couple of years making money playing pro ball overseas! Plenty of former players get into coaching without needing the vision of a former coach. They do it for the love of the game. We all could see that he was not going to make the NBA and I bet no one needed to tell Reggie for him to realize it. I wonder what kind of college player he would’ve been under a different coach and system. He sure could stroke it before coming to GU, but something happened here. Was it him losing confidence early? Was it lack of playing time? Was it unbalanced teams? Bad rosters that put him in roles he didn’t fit? Good luck to him at SJU!

I think he was supportive of the kid but JT III as soothsayer is a bit of a reach.
