Men win 1-0 behind a brandon Allen goal!
Hoyas currently in first place based on our head to head win with Marquette. Xavier is 1pt behind with 1 game to play. If they win they're 1st and we're second if they lose or tie we win because if they tie all 3 of us marquette and Xavier would be tied on points everyone would be 1-1 in the mini conference and then it goes to goals scored I believe which we would win. No matter what the tie breaker is whether it's goals scored, goal differential or goals allowed we would win I'm fairly confident.

Yeah we got every single result we needed. Very impressive to win the title in a league that will send at least 6/10 teams to the NCAA if not 7.

ps someone did point out to me at the final home game. that since his concussion steve neuman has not been the same in terms of aggressiveness and accuracy . Wish him well HOPE hes aok. go hoyas also has anyone noticed that freshman alex muyl is i believe the leading assist man if i read it right in the program. FRESHMAN WONDERKID> yup and i think about 60% of the nova yellow cards were for taking his legs out hard. GREAT HOYA and part of our future. go hoyas

the Big East will be providing a free online portal to watch both semifinal matches tomorrow from their website. Just go to www.bigeast.com/allaccess/ to watch the games. Georgetown alumni and play-by-play men, Dan Helfrich and Tom Greaser, will be providing the commentary.

Senior Steve Neumann was named the Big East Offensive Player of the Year and was the only unanimous pick to the All-Big East First Team. Senior Joey Dillon was named the Big East Midfielder of the Year (he shared that honor with Bryan Ciesiulka from Marquette). Junior Tomas Gomez was named the Big East Goalkeeper of the Year (he also shared that honor with Charlie Lyon from Marquette). Coaching Staff won Coach of the year award. We also had sophomore Brandon Allen named to the All-Big East First Team, sophomore Keegan Rosenberry named to the All-Big East Second Team, and Alex Muyl, Bakie Goodman, and Joshua Yaro named to the All-Rookie Team. www.bigeast.com/sports/m-soccer/spec-rel/111413aab.html

Real tough loss. We had a lot of chances but just could not punch one in.
Time to regroup and get back to PPL next month.
Harry cried as we left.

Very tough to watch. We dominated the second half. It seemed like PC was playing for PKs the entire game. They were very compact the entire game only attacking on counters.
It was a very nice venue to watch a soccer game though and there was great Georgetown support as a Bus of students came up for the game and did their best to cheer.
Tough to lose, but the Hoyas will still make the NCAAs and still be a seeded team in the NCAAs. As Elvado said hopefully we can make it back to PPL park since it's the site of the NCAA final 4 this year.
