I definitely would not mind adding someone but only if you think he is worth the ship and not a reach. Idk enough about ADR to speak either way...

Thanks....that's too bad. It seems they are looking more at De La Rosa? www.newenglandrecruitingreport.com/news/article/3392/Unsigned-Series-Matt-Cimino.phpThe two months since have been some of the best basketball that Cimino has ever played. He’s averaging just under 20 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 blocks per game while leading one of the youngest Worcester Academy teams in recent memory that has already taken on the likes of Brewster Academy, Northfield Mount Hermon, New Hampton, South Kent, and St. Thomas More in addition to their typical Class AA schedule. Cimino’s revitalization has come in correlation to the development of his post game, as he’s playing inside-out for the first time in his career, proving his ability to score on the block in addition to his well known shooting range. Committed to GW yesterday.. Lonergan is putting together a solid program.. www.newenglandrecruitingreport.com/news/article/3453/Cimino-Makes-his-Pick.php

Jon Rothstein @jonrothstein 13h Dave Rice announces that Bryce Dejean-Jones will not return to UNLV next season.
Teams leading scorer will graduate this summer supposedly. Just throwing his name in the pot. 6’5 physical guard not really a great shooter averaged 13-14ppg
"Dejean-Jones led UNLV in scoring with an average of 13.6 points per game, but there were some issues with regards to shot selection. The USC transfer would also be suspended for UNLV’s regular season finale at Nevada due to his actions in the immediate aftermath of the Runnin’ Rebels’ home loss to No. 8 San Diego State. Those issues led to the decision being made that Dejean-Jones has played his last game in a UNLV uniform.
Dejean-Jones wouldn’t have to go pro, provided he complete his bachelor’s degree as Rice’s plan for the guard seems to be. He could also go the graduate transfer route, becoming eligible immediately at a school of his choice.”
Roscoe might bounce also but he’s most likely to go pro. Jelan Kendrick also haha (graduate transfer or oversees).

I have a hard time getting behind the notion of any sort of 5th year/graduate transfer option at Georgetown. Unless the player is seriously committed to coming to GU and actually getting an MA, I just don't think it's who we ought to be. Even more so when the player is someone who's been shoved out the door at UNLV.

Even more so when the player is someone who's been shoved out the door at UNLV. Wasn’t advocating for the kid just throwing his name in the pot and pointing out talented players will be available. The UNLV team this year was a mess from top to bottom so I don’t know how much was him or the situation to be fair. Doubt the staff would go after him and his most likely destination is overseas.Generally speaking If you think a player can help and you have space, what’s the harm?

The entire team was dysfunctional this year at UNLV

The entire team was dysfunctional this year at UNLV Maybe because the entire nucleus was comprised of disgruntled transfer players?

@adamfinkelstein: Big pick-up for Maryland. Michal Cekovsky has a ton of upside & was best available big man not named Myles Turner IMO.
Maryland already had 7-2 4* player Trayvon Reed in the fold for 2014...
The staff continues to play the sidelines on the big man front.. Smh

I am cool with Smith as our 5 for next season, but we better land a solid 5 for '15.

Rumors of eligibility questions regarding Cekovsky… Legit grab if he clears though

We need at least two guys that can play center in the next two classes. The 2015 season has the potential to be really special, and it'd be a shame to waste all of the talent at the 1-4 positions b/c Hayes doesn't develop and our frosh center isn't quite ready. The chances we have a good center in 2015 increase with every good center recruit we add to the roster.

This is why I keep saying that sitting out the rest of 2014 recruiting season is too big a gamble for the staff to take..

I agree that if there's good talent that can be had for 2014, that we should be getting it. But does any really exist? You don't see any threads on 2014 guys, and I don't think we should take a project or somebody who is going to just sit on the bench. I don't have a problem waiting for 2015 to add talented guys, but it would definitely increase the pressure next year (at which point we might just need to settle for somebody - but I am not sure we are there yet).

The big men in the program for the start of the 2015-16 season is Bradley Hayes 2003, how do you or they figure the program isn't in need of a big in this class? It's true the top kids in 2014 have either committed elsewhere or will at a later date but as been proven time & time again over the past few months there were/are kids available who fit the system JT3 coaches.. Not to mention all the kids who were still available back in the summer when it was pretty obvious Elbert wasn't gonna happen for the staff.. At this point I'm hoping Trey will be the big for 2014.. He's not ideal but at least he seems to be versatile/interchangeable..

Twitter is full of Calishady to lakers rumors. Anyone think we could get Karl Townes from Jersey if this happens? Or would he follow Antiqua?

Twitter is full of Calishady to lakers rumors. Anyone think we could get Karl Townes from Jersey if this happens? Or would he follow Antiqua? Why would he coach the Lakers? He already coaches an NBA team. But seriously, he gets paid as much as an NBA coach already. And it is not because he is a good in-game coach. It is because he can out-recruit the field every year. That ability means nothing in the NBA. He'd be dumb to go. He absolutely owns college basketball right now.
