Perhaps that explains it Yaboy. Thanks. That doesn't explain it to me.. Devin started getting heavy praise in mid-April when the aau season kicked off and that praise was coming from multiple people in the recruiting business. For the sake of argument we'll agree that Hunter did a horrible job following up on the kid but I have to ask where was JT3 or Broadus that they didn't hear about his play outside of the team offices? Why didn't they reach out to the kid thru a call or text? That doesn't take much time to do.. ESPN, Scout, Rivals 247sports ect.. all had write-ups on his play this spring. Twitter was buzzing with good info(much of which you can read in this thread) on Devin. Hunter didn't leave until June 10th so shouldn't JT3 have asked what was happening with kids he was recruiting sometime in May at least? It's too easy to lay the blame at the feet of assistants imo.. The biggest stock risers in the DC, Maryland & Virginia area this spring/summer have been Devin & Robert Johnson and neither has been heavily recruited by the staff. I find that pretty interesting... In the end who knows how the recruitment would have played out, it'd be silly to say he was a lock for G'town because it is recruiting after all.

There's plenty of time in this recruitment for JT3 and staff to right the ship. Plus, it's not like GU would be starting from scratch; it's his dream school. We are not privy to what's going on at McD, so we don't know what the staff's plans are. TTS.

insider.espn.go.com/blog/ncbrecruiting/national/post?id=74772. Breakout performers Every summer there are players who begin to build their resumes and make a name for themselves. Here are a few candidates on the verge of breaking out this summer after strong performances at the LeBron camp. Devin Robinson (Christchurch, Va./ Christchurch School), 2014, SF: His size and length stand out, while his 3-point shooting is his signature skill. Robinson is an active player who scores and rebounds without a developed muscle in his body. He is blowing up right before our very eyes.

love the 90s penny hardaway throwbacks. If Oubre or Robinson popped today, who'd you take?

Oubre. Less question marks. Brings it on defense consistently

Do I notice a little bit of attitude? A little is good, but JT3 steers clear of players with lots. But, not for me to judge from a highlight reel... TTS!

I love it! Gotta open up a ship though after Elbert. He, GW, and Ike would be ridiculous.

It's funny. He reminds me a lot of Whittington as a player and Whit has some attitude too.
