JT3 needs to close this deal. The kid is blowing up and wants to come to GTown. I can see Ike and Dev running the wings and finishing breaks off dimes from Tre. We need the length on the wings and in the paint to help out DSR......

we also need beef up front. I'm all for this kid, if he can run the 2 also.

His upside is higher than most 2 guards in all categories except for handle which is one of the easier facets of the game to improve on.. The objective imo should be to upgrade the talent level in the program 1st & foremost..

I agree, but somebody gotta be able break people down off the dribble. We rely on jumpers way too much. Not saying I don't want him though...

Zylan, Dev, Elbert, Peak, White....not enough ships. who gets pushed out? We aren't getting all five of those remaining players anyway. I can't see the Hoyas adding any more than three more guys to the two they already have as commitments and if that happens the team will need two occupied spots to open up. If the Hoyas get just two more players then they will only need to somehow free up one more schollie. The situation was made tougher by Greg's injury because I was assuming that this season would have been his last.

And then we'll all be cryin as we get pounded down low cause Dev ain't heavy enough or when Hopkins misses another chippie and we should've gotten another big.

Paul George...can we get him to visit since we began reaching out a little late though? Tony Parker started this thread by saying Gtown had reportedly offered & Devin had visited unofficially. It seems they're not late to the show with him, they just wasted too much time at the concession stand... Now Sutton or Broudas or JT3 needs to step up the recruitment efforts for him, imo he wouldn't have mentioned Gtown in that interview if he was no longer interested. Copeland, Campbell, Bentil & Devin would be a monster class

I'm begining to get pretty confident that we are gonig to have a great 2014 class, no matter who is a part of it. Bentil and Devin would be awesome additions, but so would about 12 other guys we are interested in.
Elbert does seem to make the most sense, from a historic Big-Man U perspective.
I've been a big fan of Bentil for about a year.
Campbell might have been a premature signing. I think if you don't sign him you might land Booth and upgrade the class even more. But a bird in the hand is very valuable in recruiting.

I'll go back and read cause I don't remember him on an unofficial. That's good to know. I think Booth doesn't want to be here and never has; not taking Tre' wouldn't have made a difference. I do agree that we got a potential top 10 class.

Exactly. They conditionally offer everyone. Indiana will be on the down swing. While I like the sounds of Robinson I would prefer Elbert. But if devin is prepared to pull the trigger its a no brainer, welcome aboard.

indiana.247sports.com/Article/Tony-Squire-said-hes-unsurprised-by-Devin-Robinsons-emergence-137618“The situation with Devin Robinson is, last year, as a junior in high school, he had no letters, no letters, no offers and wasn’t ranked,” Squire said. “I would just say with Devin Robinson, I think he was a diamond in the rough.”“The plan is, for now, and it hasn’t changed, by August, to sit down, having what we call the parent sit-down, looking at all the schools,” Squire said. “As long as people are consistent with what they’re saying, they will be in the running in August.”Devin has an invite to Lebron's camp in Vegas this weekend.. Can only hope the staff is using the "stealthy/behind the scenes" method of recruiting him..
