hoopniks.com/nbpa-top-100-camp-1st-session-recap/Eye Openers:Devin Robinson, 6’8”, 2014, Richmond Squires Robinson was the recipient of a few well placed Tyler Ulis passes and also notched a few steals that led to breakaway dunks. The lanky small-forward came to play in the first live recruiting session in April at the Pittsburgh Jam Fest and is still going just as hard almost two months later. Robinson was active on both sides of the ball and showed his versatility by knocking down a deep three and driving to the basket off the dribble.

On Thursday the 6-foot-8 wing rattled off a lengthy school list that included TEXAS, MIAMI, KANSAS, INDIANA, CONNECTICT, GEORGETOWN, FLORIDA STATE, RUTGERS, BOSTON, XAVIER, CINCINNATI, LOUISVILLE, NOTRE DAME, OKLAHOMA STATE and more are coming on regularly.

Eric Hampford @future150erich 1h Devin Robinson is exactly the type of versatile forward that coaches love. He has a ton of room to grow. #Top100Camp
Clint Jackson @clintjackson1 1h Devin Robinson with a nice transition finish. Finesse forward with length, skill and savvy.

With all these wing forwards, somebody has to be able to play the two.

Alex Kline @therecruitscoop 17m Devin Robinson using his long wingspan to his advantage when grabbing rebounds in traffic for put back layups. Great asset.

This young man has made an impact at every event he's been in this spring.. My recruiting mantra for the 2014 class has changed from Copeland, Bentil & Booth to Copeland, Campbell, Robinson & Robinson.. I'm not worried at all about positions, just stockpile versatile talent.. JT3 and the staff will figure the rest out. insider.espn.go.com/blog/dave-telep/post/_/id/3693/notebook-nbpa-camp-recruit-updatesRobinson about to rise
ESPN 100 small forward Devin Robinson (Christchurch, Va./ Christchurch School) reclassified and repeated his junior year. Robinson worked on his grades and his game, and now he’s No. 74 player in the Class of 2014.
The 6-8 wing played overseas last week for a touring adidas team that went 0-3 versus international competition. But the fact that Robinson was in Venice, Italy, last week and Charlottesville, Va., for NBPA camp this week is pretty spectacular.
“It was hard adjusting to the time,” Robinson said. “I was sleeping during the day and staying up late at night. It was a hard transition.”
Over in Europe, ESPN’s resident overseas scout, Fran Fraschilla, had a chance to eyeball Robinson. “He’s a small forward version of a derby colt,” Fraschilla said. “He has the look of a very good player with physical maturity.”
Robinson sees himself as a big mismatch who can defend smaller players, shoot it and handle for his position. He has a great frame -- an NBA frame actually -- and though he’s a little light at 178 pounds, trust me, the pounds come easily later. How many 6-8 perimeter shooters are there in college basketball?
One of Robinson’s older brothers was once a freshman at VCU but ran into trouble off the court. Devin has learned from his sibling’s experience and said he is intent on not repeating his brother’s missteps.
Going into July, Notre Dame, VCU and Virginia Tech are on him the hardest. Texas is also beginning to lay the foundation for his recruitment.
Last season at Christchurch, Robinson helped his team win a state title with a 28-7 record. He averaged 19 points, 9.8 rebounds and five assists per game. He’s older than most of the players in his class, but he’s taken the extra year to improve his academics and his game. This is a high-major wing player.

In our offense, Robinson and Copeland could co-exist so there shouldn't be any worries about that.
Unless someone can confirm that the staff has indeed reached out, I wouldn't assume so. He may have been asked which schools he was interested in, and he listed the Hoyas but that doesn't necessarily mean we reached out to him. I hope we do however and put the full-court press on.

We all could just Twitter bomb Coach Sutton (@coachsutton) and tell him we really, really, really hope the staff reconsiders and offers Robinson ASAP. Just throwing it out there. I’m in Deacon..

Spring Stock Risers: Myles Turner, Devin Robinson The top two stock risers throughout the spring were Myles Turner and Devin Robinson and both of these players substantiated their new found hype. Turner earned a spot on the all camp team as he averaged 12 points and 5 rebounds. He scored off hook shots and drop steps down low while also showing off his touch with jump shots all over the court. The lanky Robinson knocked in three’s from the wings and was the recipient of many Tyler Ulis passes early on in the camp. He had his best game against a future Tar Heel in Theo Pinson and future Georgetown Hoya in Isaac Copeland. Both players proved that their strong springs were not a result of weak competition and will be hearing from a lot more college coaches after camp. - See more at: hoopniks.com/2013-nbpa-top-100-camp-top-performers/#sthash.j8R5q0i3.dpuf
