@ebosshoops Eric Bossi
Did the right thing in making Devin Robinson a five-star but I don't think I went high enough on him. #lbjskills

Indiana offered during the draft right after Oladipo and Zeller got picked. And from Rivals:
"Robinson now has offers from Indiana, Connecticut, Georgia Tech, Notre Dame, Olahoma State, USC and others. Duke, North Carolina, Texas, Georgetown, Florida, Florida State, Miami, Missouri and Kentucky also are among the schools now reaching out to express interest."
WHY HAVEN'T WE OFFERED YET?!

While he definitely should have an offer SF is the last position we need bodies to fill.
Whitt Domingo Cameron Copeland Peak/Bowen in a pinch
Staff needs to lock down a C and a PF.

In our offense, positions don't really matter. However, one could still play devil's advocate and look at that list and say that we really do need a traditional small forward. Whitt - coming off ACL surgery, who knows what he'll be when he returns to the court. Domingo - everything I've seen from him makes me think he's a two-guard. Cameron - looks like a stretch four. Copeland - classic combo forward. In no way should him committing stop us from recruiting a three. Peak/Bowen - Peak is a two and Bowen will be a senior in 2014. Now, the staff may have moved on and stopped recruiting him altogether - which would be very unfortunate - but I can definitely see the need for a traditional three on the roster.

I concur with Deacon. Furthermore I hate the idea of Creepy Crean setting up camp in our backyard so he can go after five-star DC area recruits. What gives him that mojo? Because of what Oladipo became under his watch? Get out of here. I listened to Crean on the radio all throughout draft week blatantly use Oladipo and Zeller as a recruiting pitch. Well, III needs to emphasize a recruiting pitch of his own. Robinson is a player who has spoken of Georgetown as his dream school, he is an area kid who rooted for the Hoyas and he is now turning out to be a top 25 recruit. Priorties be ::bleep::. You find room for that kid and go after him with all you goy. Gtown ain't exactly in a position to be walking away from a fight for a five star player. It'll be nice to get one again.

Can you ever have to many four-five star athletes...... I don't think so.

Somebody needs to rebound the ball or play in the paint. I want a top 25 recruit to come but we also need girth.

Folks maybe he isn't really feeling us anymore, or there are handlers now and we decided that we aren't gonna get him. I doubt the staff is just not trying with a kid, it may just be that he is saying one thing but the reality is different.

I doubt the staff is just not trying with a kid, it may just be that he is saying one thing but the reality is different. Even if he doesn't like G'town anymore I doubt very much he or his folks would tell them that, so if the staff reached out in anyway we'd hear about it in one the the many articles written about Devin over the last 2 months. The only thing you read about G'town is that they were one of his 3 unofficial visits so far. He's talked to Ollie, Smart, Crean, Brey ect.. He's talked to asst's from Duke, UNC & Fla also but I haven't seen him/his folks mention speaking with JT3 or any asst's from G'town this aau season. In that interview by Draft Express Devin says G'town was contacting him but he doesn't know why they stopped.. I don't know why either.. smh This seems like a bungled recruitment all the way around... P.S. - Saxa, I doubt Peak's recruitment/commitment had anything to do with Devin's recruitment.. Honestly Devin seems the better fit anyway. Taller, longer, shoots it better & just as athletic

Taller, longer, shoots it better & just as athletic Given the timing of GU's apparent lack of interest in Devin, I'd agree with you etomic. But I don't agree that DR being "taller, better" etc is the reason.. not that he isn't, but the "bird in hand" rule does apply from time to time. Even given THAT, I still think we could take DR and LJ. Who was lead GU recruiter for DR? Chances are pretty high that asst. is no longer here. OK... clearly I don't know any more than anyone else..just putting out speculation. From what I've read about this kid and his earlier favorable comments about GU - this one, on its surface, sounds disappointing. Still, with Copeland, Peak and Campbell, we are off to a very good start for '14
