Huge game. Winnable, but against a team that seems to have our number. We're now in a stretch where we may be underdogs in 5 of 7 games (though if we keep playing like this, it won't be true).

Cinci always gives us trouble. But they are a very wild and unpredictable team. A bit like us in the sense that they haven't been consistent on offense but they defend well. We seem to have hit our stride a little more on offense. Really showed tonight when we got some back door cuts. When those start hitting, watch out. And it wasn't just Nate to Otto. Mikael threw a nice one. DSR was cutting hard. Good to see.

Do they play before then? (Too lazy to look it up). Would be nice if they didn't have a whole week to prepare for us

They've won four in a row against us. Not sure when our last win was, but probably before any of these guys were Hoyas.
And Cincy hosts Villanova tomorrow night.

When Austin came back after his diagnosis - blew them out by about 30.

The less time they have to prepare the better. Although their game plan is just to get physical with us and bump all our cuts. Thankfully this year we have the ability/toughness to counteract this. Let's Goooooo!

Will be very difficult to win at Cincinnati on a Friday night at 9 pm...gotta think the Bearcats fans will be lathered up.

I remember how annoyed I was when we blew the game at home against them last year.

Cinci is not good this year. They aren't last year's team. Why is everyone so scared of them?

Any BE road game is scary, especially against a team that is in the hunt for a tourney spot and needs wins to secure it.

The dreaded bearclaw game. I want that bearclaw this year (from my Cincy friend at work); it has been a long time since the last one (my friend is getting fat from them at my expense). We have to keep our momentum going. Can't let down. Go Hoyas!!!

Cinci is not good this year. They aren't last year's team. Why is everyone so scared of them? I don't think scared is the right word. More like respectful - of a road game in the BE against an opponent that has beaten us 4 in a row. With the way both teams are playing, I don't think anyone on here would say we shouldn't beat them. They miss a lot of shots, but put back a lot of those bricks. We're going to need another manly game from Mikael on the glass. And in the past they've basically bullied us on the court. This team won't stand for that this year as Otule learned from Jabril tonight. I am confident.

This years Cincy team doesn't have a guy who they can throw it down in the post at all. They are extremely perimeter oriented. The one guy who may cause trouble other than the usual suspects is Titus Robles. He is one of those type of players who game give us trouble cause he is an athletic guy who can score creatively. Also keeping Justin Jackson from getting a bunch of offense rebounds is important too.

Yes we need to respect another BE opponent on the road, but that doesn't mean we can't talk about the numerous advantages we have over them. People around here prefer to prepare for a letdown rather than enjoy the ride. We're playing well right now and with a killer instinct, the fans need to realize that and get rid of this fear of failure mentality.

Seems like against Rutgers we got the worse end of the officiating...vs Marquette we got a lot of the calls....just hope this one is pretty even. if its even - we have a good shot.
I know some of you will say quette fouled us more - and i know they did. we get fouled a ton esspecially on our cuts - but the reality is most of those go uncalled. its just a reality. so when we get the calls - its to our advantage.
