I made my hotel reservations for Atlanta, wishful thinking? Please Sky, talk like this should be banned by the moderators.

Dungeon ball at its greatest. Looks like RDF picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue. I miss him

GW was not at the game today...I could be wrong but hasn't he been traveling to the away games before this?

“The Princeton offense is so unpredictable, that you’ve got to kind of just fight through the possessions,” guard Jerome Seagears said. "Hopefully the possession ends with a stop.”
Jerome Seagers with the dungeon ball endorsement...

Shout out to RDF, I didn’t always agree with dood. Heck sometimes I agreed with him although I didn’t like the way he said it, but he did make it fun and laid the groundwork for some very spirited debate…
Now if he was really being truthful about not being a GTOWN fan anymore? Fuk him..sorry not sorry.. HoyaSaxa

GW was not at the game today...I could be wrong but hasn't he been traveling to the away games before this? The color commentator today(Wentzel?) stated that "Greg is out for the year and we now know this for sure", or something to that effect. That's the first time I've read/heard anything definitive on Greg's status. Since Wentzel reportedly did not talk to the Coach as part of game prep, give that statement the credibility it deserves.

Crazy to think that we are a New Mexico loss at UNLV tonight away from entering Big Monday as a top 15 team barely 3 weeks removed from being under 500 in conference and talks of NIT roaming the halls of Hoyatalk.

No one said Hop wasn't good. Most said he was in some sort of slump/confidence vacuum.

No one said Hop wasn't good. Most said he was in some sort of slump/confidence vacuum. Maybe you skipped over the posts trashing him after almost every game, but saying that about Hopkins was considered a high compliment. It was rare to find that much kindness toward Hopkins, myself included.

Was able to watch the second half of the game on my iphone once the replay got put up on ESPN3. No power at home and ESPN3 was blocked out live. Everything's been covered, but want to add in my kudos to Hopkins' and Otto's play. Looks like Markel and DSR had very good first halves.
The Refs were terrible and were the announcers.
This game seemed a lot like the USF game but we took the lessons learned from that game and were able to gut out a win.

From ESPN's Round up of this afternoon's action:
"3. Georgetown coach John Thompson III doesn’t get nearly enough credit. The Hoyas’ 69-63 victory over Rutgers marked their seventh win in their past eight games. Included in that stretch are wins against Notre Dame and Louisville and two victories over a red-hot St. John’s squad.
Each year, Georgetown seems to lose stars to the NBA draft or seasoned veterans to graduation. But Thompson always responds. He always has guys ready to step in. Heck, this Georgetown team lost its second-leading scorer and rebounder (Greg Whittington) to academics midway through the season -- and the Hoyas got better. The man is an excellent coach, plain and simple."
