Soul searching for JT3 or will we see the same things that didn't work against St. John's? Try, try again?

Expect to see the zone back out in full force when were not pressing (which hurt us more than it helped last night). Expect to see Moses get another chance to perform. Expect an intensified focus as well.

Nikita can't hit the side of the backboard. So there's that.

Seems like a better match-up as they don't have the bigs that Pitt has and if we can board, we should be alright.

This team just beat Cincinnati on the road. It's going to be ugly--but Hoyas just need to embrace that and try to win ugly. Quit pretending they are a skilled/shooting team and just focus on winning-not how it looks. If that means playing more people or changing rotation, fine. If that means that you don't have any center on the court at times or 2 of them, fine. Just get people on court who are physical and going into a game with mindset it's going to be a long night but find a way to win. If Hoyas play as they did against Marquette, they'll have a shot to win against most teams in BE. If they play as timid offensively (36 FGA's in a game is heinous) they have no chance.
Obekpa is going to play how Hoyas used to play.

I always thought D was still a passing grade. Last night was a sold F, no mistake. This team is better than that type of effort and result. To underscore the magnitude, even Esh did not have a stinker like that.
Most importantly, JT III has to get the players to get focused on rebounding and defense. The offense will fall into place if these two items improve. We can compete with the rest of the Big East, but the guys have got to mprove they can beat the rest of the Big East.
Not time to throw the team or tthe coaching staff under the bus, but man, that was brutal.

I'm going to NY for the game on Saturday, and I'd rather not cry in public in front of my younger sister.
Let's go Hoyas! You're better than this!

The next three should be given wins before @notre Dame and Louisville.... The Hoyas should be focused enough to give Louisville a going away defeat.

Don't think we're that far off; I was expecting 1-1 after the 1st two games. Plenty of time to right the ship.
