THIS IS FREAKING AWESOME!!! WE NEED TO START PROMOTING THIS NOW AND GET MCDONOUGH ROCKING!!! Actually, I think we could fill McDonough by accident. I wonder if the NIT people are sobbing uncontrollably at this. Their three choices were all 3K seat gyms. No matter. Night before going home (again), good chance of winning and advancing to the quarters, cheap ticket...good deal.

We really need to make sure the place is packed though, and I mean standing room only!!! Lets really try to get as many alums as possible to be there and get the place loud. Students need to bring their A game and get really crazy, I want the atmosphere to be intense!!!

I am hoping that they'll take a loose interpretation of the fire code and allow us to pack it with standing room only. If we could get everyone jumping and what not, we might shake the building's foundations.

"I will pay the way for..." I have five dollars, but I'll take you up on the offer anyway. Thanks. If we could get everyone jumping and what not, we might shake the building's foundations. That'd certainly get the renovations underway sooner.

Awesome news, I can't wait for the game, I hope we can sell it out and get it rocking. SJSU was pretty weak, IMO, so let's redeem ourselves against another, much better California team. ;D
Question: When will word on TV come out? I doubt a game at McDonough would be broadcast on ESPN or the Deuce.

I can understand that, but think about what's best for the team. Not having to travel and getting to play at McDonough is much better for them. Of course, but I'm selfish. And I'm debating whether you or Sean Penn has a better sense of humor. Right now, I'm going with you, but I think Sean is gaining.

Spring Break was the week of the Big East Tournament, so everyone should be on campus. Easter Break starts on that Thursday until Monday but that shouldn't have any effect. Now let's get about 1,500 students there and rock the joint!!!

If the McD game is not on TV, will GUHoyas.com show the game?

Spring Break was the week of the Big East Tournament, so everyone should be on campus. Easter Break starts on that Thursday until Monday but that shouldn't have any effect. Now let's get about 1,500 students there and rock the joint!!! Well, I mean, it won't have an impact on attendance on Tuesday. But I can imagine that the chances of Georgetown hosting a Round 3 game are slim. The dates for that are March 23, 24, and 25. We won't play on consecutive nights, so the Round 3 game's over GU's Easter Break, meaning you can't guarantee any kind of legit student turnout. Plus, the other three teams in our bracket are what I call "Classic NIT" teams--Arizona State, UNLV, and South Carolina. If the lease with MSG runs out, the NIT should just hold the final four at the Thomas & Mack Center. Those three arenas are pretty convenient venues. So...as if you needed extra motivation BESIDES a postseason home game, consider that it will likely be the last time you see the team in person this season. That...and for every student fan who buys tix in Red Square tomorrow, 007 promises to add another exclamation point to his posts!!
