And Williams-Goss. Just absolutely foolish. But there are worse things on that list, like Kris Jenkins being ranked ahead of Agau as a PF.

basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1397602"I'm wide open," Peters said. "People try to say that Maryland leads because they are right up the street, but I'm open to everybody right now." That everybody that Peters is open to includes Georgetown, Xavier, UCLA, Memphis and Rutgers at the moment. Rather than speak in specifics about each school, Peters has a broader focus for now. "The thing I like about all the schools that I’ve chosen is the people they have there as coaches and players," Peters said. "I feel like I have strong relationships with all of them."

So the Twins are deciding on Thursday. I guess it's best for us (if we want to get Peters) that Maryland lands the twins. If so his list will be: Georgetown, Xavier, Rutgers, UCLA and Kansas trying to get into the mix. We have the advantage of being local which he said he likes and not getting in late like Kansas.
What are our chances?

I know that was said but I call BS for '13 they would have the twins, Seth Allen, Nick Faust, and PeShon Howard you have to think he's at best 3rd in line in terms of playing time with that roster. Sure there's a chance he'd be the starter as a sophomore as the twins are one and done and the others of note will be seniors, but I'd be surprised if he wanted to basically sit out freshman year. I hate maryland and don't want them to succeed, but them getting the twins might be better for us long term even if it helps them short term.

This. Maryland is all in on this one. I can't see anyone else of this level in their future anytime soon if they choose not to commit. This is almost a perfect storm for them.

Yeah, I don't see how Maryland getting the twins is anything but bad for us long-term. The better they are, the more we'll have to compete with them for recruits in the future.

Turgeon is stockpiling talent at MD and those two are the types of talents that could easily make them a legit title contender. Gary won a title there, but the difference is Turgeon isn't going to take his foot off the gas in regards to recruiting. There are some really good local kids coming down the pike and MD possibly winning a national title won't help our cause whatsoever.
We should all want the Harrison's to pick UK, as nauseating as that may be.

I didn't go to GTown so I don't have the hatred for MD that the alums have. The way I see it is that the Harrison twins are good but MD won't have the talent to win a 'Ship with them for one year And yes they will be gone after one year. UK will be loaded and will most likely add another banner with the Twins on board. I hate UK(Calishadi) the way you guys hate MD.............

I'm with the majority here. Maryland getting the twins would be a very bad thing for us both short and long term. No thanks.

I don't like our chances for Peters regardless. Just doesn't seem like a fit for us, kind of a volume shooter. In a recent interview with the Rutgers Rivals site he said "I'm looking for somewhere where I can come in and play and get the ball put in my hands."
You can't make too much out of a quote like that, and I'm sure a lot of kids would say the same, but it just doesn't seem like it matches the Georgetown style of play. It reads more like somebody who wants to be "featured" rather than somebody who wants to be a part of a team, share the ball and take what the defense gives. Plus when you factor in the DC Assault--it hasn't ruled us out, and maybe things have thawed a tiny bit, but there's no way it helps--it's just hard for me to believe he'd up at Georgetown. He also apparently got offered by Kansas and is visiting there on 10/19, so I suspect they'll be seriously considered if UMCP doesn't pan out.

Ideal situation: Twins to Kentucky, Jordan to UMD, and Peters to Georgetown. More Ideal unrealistic situation: Twins to kentucky Jordan to temple, Peters to Georgetown. Maryland gets nothing.
I'm just not that scared of maryland no matter who they get. They'll have a good team with the twins and their other players for one year, but I don't think they can sustain that success after the twins leave especially if they loose out on peters by taking the twins. They'll have no PG after that year so will be dependent on bringing in a new freshman PG and I don't see them landing anyone of equal value. The twins are a unique situation because they had a connection to baltimore and one of Maryland's assistants.

Twins to UK. To pass on them to go ACC and not go to one of the top 3 or 4 in the conference when you are likely one and done doesn't add up.
Of course there are other factors, but nobody out factors UK.
