Not surprising, Meyers has been singing his praises all summer and said recently he felt Peters was a better prospect than Nate Britt and Rysheed Jordan.
If Maryland gets Peters to go with Dodd in 2013, they'll be working with something.

Does anyone actually think the Harrisons will end up anywhere other than Kentucky?

Does anyone actually think the Harrisons will end up anywhere other than Kentucky? I know a lot of Maryland fans that think they are in good shape to land those kids. I laugh now but I'd cry if they landed them!

They wont be enough to win it all and they are gone after one year. If the Twins go to UK with this years best big and whatever is lefted over, Shadi wins another C'SHIP.....

Whether MD lands the twins or not, they're definitely on the upswing.
Truth be told, I'd rather have thier roster.
Obviously, along with Otto.

They are on the upswing but to go so far as to say you want their roster over ours is a bit absurd at this point.

No chance I'd rather have their roster. Are you kidding me? Which players are motivating you to make that statement?

No chance I'd rather have their roster. Are you kidding me? Which players are motivating you to make that statement? Alex Len, Nick Faust (who I love), Jake Layman (Love him too), Seth Allen, Sam Cassell Jr. and Damonte Dodd. I wouldn't take these guys over the 2012-2013 Hoyas but I love the talent level. Particularly, Faust, Layman, Allen and Dodd.

Dodd isn't on their roster for another year. Alex Len was atrocious last year and I'd absolutely take Hopkins over him. Faust and Layman are good players, but no more proven than a DSR. And Seth Allen? SETH ALLEN??

Does anyone actually think the Harrisons will end up anywhere other than Kentucky? Yes 2 words Under Armour. These kids don't need Cal to go be a 1 and done. Remember the owner of UA is a MD grad.

They don't need Cal, but neither did Anthony Davis, MKG, Nerlens Noel, John Wall, Derrick Rose, Boogie Cousins, etc. If they don't go to Kentucky, Maryland seems to have as good a chance as any but come on. They have Kentucky written all over them and if you think differently you haven't been paying close enough attention the last few years.
As for the UMd roster, it's clearly improved. Their fan base seems to think Len is a future lottery pick, but he really wasn't very good last year. He's definitely very tall and mobile so maybe he makes the leap. Faust is a talented player who plays in a very undisciplined fashion. Layman sounds pretty good, but he hasn't played a game yet. I'll take our roster any day.

Let's do this:
C- Len/Cleare > Moses/Lubick F- Hopkins and Layman/Padgett are a push (being generous to MD here) SF-Otto>Pankey/Mitchell? SG-Whittington and Faust are a push (again being generous to MD here) PG-Starks > P'Shon
From there, I think it may be a clean sweep, Trawick, DSR, Domingo and Hayes will all be better than Cassell and Allen, and Bolden and Bowen just come in for depth.
I guess you could move Len to PF and start Cleare as a freshman and (assuming Cleare is as good as MD thinks (probably not) and that Len improves a lot). That gives MD the starting C and PF advantage. But, Otto is the best player by miles on either team and our depth and versatility destroy MD's. MD simply doesn't have close to enough players to make it a fair fight.
