Like I said, keep a close eye on this one. Could be the big point guard a lot of us have been hoping for. Scores in bunches but his PG skills are developing rapidly.
Also, plays for DC Assault. Let's hope Broadus's re-engagement helps thaw some of the tension, because that program has some STUDS in the pipeline.

I like how he's always in attack mode. Good size at 6'4''. Most importantly, seems to have good length.
Always thought he was out of the question bc of his Assault affiliation and his love affair with the Terps. Who knows though.
What about Maryland?
“[Maryland assistant] coach [Dalonte] Hill was supposed to come to my game but they had practice that night," Peters said. "But he’s been talking to my AAU coach a lot and they’re going to come see me. “I talk to him all the time. I call him a lot. He’s been telling me about their team and how they’re looking for a guard in the Class of 2013.”
Peters has made no bones about the fact he’d like to be that point guard.
"[Hill] knows that’s my top school and he’s just taking it slow because they haven’t see me play yet,” Peters said.
What is it about Maryland that has Peters dreaming of becoming a Terp?
“I grew up watching them," he said. "I always watched guys like Juan Dixon. Most kids in this area go away for college. Nobody stays local and I’d like to stay."
Peters visited Maryland earlier this season for a game and liked what he saw.
“I liked the atmosphere. I was mostly looking at what it would be like to play there,” he said. “I like the way the coaches coach and I think they’re going to be good.”

His game seems to be a cross of Marshall and Kyle Anderson. He'd be perfect for us....sounds like it will be hard to be out the Terps on this one.

I assume he means Kendall Marshall.
Also, while the Terps were the long time favorite, they have made it clear they are saving guard spots for the Harrison twins and Rysheed Jordan (and already have Howard, Faust, Allen, Cassell Jr.). The Harrison twins aren't deciding until late October, so we have time to make up ground.

Nobody stays local? We could send a trail of guys to his door to illustrate otherwise.

Was just going to post this. Hope it's not too late because this kid flat out gets it done and is local to boot. MD has long been perceived as the favorite but apparently the Hoyas offered first, so we'll see if that helps.

MD wants Harrison's and Rysheed as a backup plan. Peters would be a backup to that backup plan.

MD wants Harrison's and Rysheed as a backup plan. Peters would be a backup to that backup plan. If Peters wanted to pop right now for MD, they'd take him. Harrison's seem like a longshot and nobody knows that Jordan is thinking. Can't hold off someone like Peters - who has said repeatedly that MD is his dream school - in hopes of landing one of them and you end up with none.

you're right, but not sure they'd take him over Jordan right now who may be close.

I’m not sure if that’s correct since Maryland has not offered and Peters has already said that’s his dream school.. Seems like if they offered he would go but things might be changing
