So Coepland pushed him from wanting to come here. Good to know now instead of wasting time. Whoa -- the linked story quotes Morgan's AAU coach as stating that he didn't think GU would be one of Morgan's final three considerations once Copeland made his verbal commitment. So that was the coach's perspective, not Morgan's. And the coach went on to say that he now thinks Morgan and Copeland could co-exist. I see no conflict in those statements, whether Morgan is still seriously considering GU or not.

The article has been changed to reflect that he is down to Georgetown UNLV and Maryland, when I posted that, it did not. Hence the updated part of the title.

I think Copeland is a three at the college level, but if he put on the necessary muscle, refined his post game and welcomed the challenge of becoming a true four man ... *Steve Harvey eyes*

Right now, sure. But in person, he looks like he could be 6'9" easy and has a frame that he could easily put 25-30 pounds of muscle on. I'm not saying he will, but if he does ... wow.

The one thing this offense has shown is tremendous flexibility. Two 6-9 small forwards can play together in the offense with zero issues, I think Greg and Otto proved that.
Last year, Henry was our best player. The offense ran through him.
When Chris and Austin were the best players, we ran more pick and roll and a bit more isolation.
When Jeff was dominant, we ran the O through the high post. I'm not worried at all about recruiting redundantly. This offense caters towards whomever it needs to.

Based on the video I saw, as a high school junior, Copeland is already more muscular than GW was as a college frosh. And I agree that his shoulders and frame look like they could support quite a bit more muscle, unlike Whitt who looks like he will always be pretty wiry as a player.

If Morgan were to pick Georgetown, him and Copeland could co-exist with zero issues. The staff would figure it out and I'm sure they're telling Morgan the same. Just envisioning if Copeland puts in work in the weight room. Him in Nate's role ... drool.

Blurb from Rivals: "A center just two years ago, Morgan has made a transition to wing that can handle and shoot while also being an inside presence. "Dwayne has gone from being a center to being a wing player who is pushing the rock and shoots it well," said Wise. "His potential is so scary I wouldn't be surprised if by next year he is a 25 and 12 guy by the time he's a senior. He has that kind of potential." Before he gets to his senior season, there's the matter of making a decision. Wise broke down what allowed each program to make the final cut. Over the weekend, Morgan was at Georgetown for a visit and he's become plenty familiar with campus. "He's been on campus and gotten a chance to play up there a few times," said Wise. "He's been able to go up there three times. Georgetown doesn't do a lot of offering unless you come on campus so he came on campus and Coach Thompson fell in love him." In addition to a growing familiarity with the staff, Morgan is impressed by the development of players similar to him. "He sees the success of an Otto Porter," said Wise. "He sees freedom within that offense where he could be successful and he appreciates that John Thompson can always get the most out of his players." Much more in article, specifically on other schools involved: rivalshoops.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1482471&PT=4&PR=2

I agree with Etomic, I'd rather have Bentil....but if Morgan wants to come here and commit you gotta take him and not wait on Bentil.

If Morgan wants to come, you take him. His potential is through the roof.
I am really, really hoping he is a Hoya. Always good to get the best in the area.
