Wow, very excited if Marcus can defend the 5. We need as many options as possible down low next season.

Wow, Marcus Derrickson with 26 points today in a semifinal win over St. Thomas Moore. Adam Finkelstein was the commentator, and he said Derrickson was the best player on the floor against STM today. While Enoch outplayed Derrickson in the 1st half, Marcus came out in the second half and dominated.
Championship game should be broadcasted live at 7:30PM tonight. Go Marcus!

That game showed why I am so excited for Marcus to come. He dominated that game offensively. So skilled.

I'd have to imagine that at least III will be there.

this would have been a perfect clip, except it started with Marcus losing the ball at the top of the key...lol.

After watching him today I rescind my thought that he can't play the 5 at this level. He can. The fade away jumper he hit late in the post was so pretty. Looked like an NBA move by Duncan.

Yea, the more I watch him, the more excited I get. Another great wrinkle, he's the first big in awhile that we've had that has legit 3-point range. Since our offense LOVES to have our big do a pick-and-roll with our guards, this will be a huge weapon.
Marcus-DSR pick and rolls will be potent!

He routinely was the safety valve against the press, catching the entry pass and making the right play to get it to get it to the guards to run the press. He also knocked down 5-6 free throws at the end.

Wonder why they are playing two games on the same day.

He's putting on a show in the championship game right now. Hes defending the big man. Made a few good posts moves. Had a great block followed by a great hedge at the top of the key. On the next possession he drills a nothing but net 3.

So I connect to the stream and one of the first plays i see is Derrickson being whistled for a phantom defensive foul while someone drove the lane.
The kid looks good. Running the Georgetown offense with a big who can hit the 3 would be an interesting development.

He's playing a solid two way game, drew a charge, blocked a shot and is boxing out on every shot put up by IMG. He only had two rebounds by my count in the first half, but their big guy couldn't get close to the board. Also playing very nice help defense. Nice first half!
