It's just so sad that Scoop's 7 years in college are finally over.
On another topic, that quick hook from the baseline that Sullinger has is pure devastation.

Dion Waiters was quoted saying "It felt like 5 on 8 out there".
Correct me if i'm wrong--but I thought "nothing distracts us"--Jim Boeheim.
Wouldn't Waiters quote be classified as a player who was distracted?

I had such a good night of sleep after watching that one. Ahhhhh. Now that Cuse is done, can they please switch the commentary from praising Boeheim and the Orange for not letting the crapstorm disrupt their play to one of how the heck could all of this happen and Boeheim not be accountable for any of it? That would be lovely.

Wouldn't Waiters quote be classified as a player who was distracted? This coming from a team that only had to face Sullinger for 6 minutes in the 1st half. Boo freaking hoo. I think they had gotten too accustomed to getting every single call (WVU goaltend at home, Hollis disallowed to play at home, and UNC Asheville last week to name a few). When you feel jobbed that the calls were even, it's time to realize that you have gotten more calls than you probably deserve.

Wouldn't Waiters quote be classified as a player who was distracted? I for one am shocked at that comment. Not at the idea that a Syracuse player would whine about officiating, but that a Syracuse player can add 5 plus 3 and get 8. Dion Waiters must be the Valedictorian of SU hoops...

Choosing between Baylor and Kentucky is kind of like choosing between the Pagans and the Philistines. I guess Coach Cal is the bigger slimeball with a longer history of underhandedness. But just how has Scott Drew changed a nothing basketball program into a national recruiting powerhouse? Hiring John Wall's AAU coach didn't work so well but he has somehow managed to get plenty of other top recruits to play in Waco for a program whose notoriety before the obnoxious highlighter yellow unis was the infamous Patrick Dennehy murder by Carlton Dotson in 2003. Ugh.

The reffing in that Cuse-OSU game was horrendous. But not one sided. Just horrendous. The amount of times that Cuse got insanely soft foul calls going to the basket (most egregiously, Sullinger's 2nd, Waiter's missed dunk where he didn't trip on anyone, or Triche's and-1 that made it tight at the end) pretty much equaled all of the touch foul calls that Thomas and Sullinger got. The refs destroyed the flow of the game, but in a tighter reffed game, OSU still wins. Cuse just had no answer for Sullinger. If he had been allowed to play in the first half, he would've had 28.

Hopefully JT3 is seeing that playing a lot of guys earlier in the game and the season is critical, because the way NCAA tourney games are reffed, your 8th and 9th guys need to be used to playing a lot of minutes and use to having to produce. We need to develop a longer bench.NCAA refs call everything and sometimes things that aren't there. I think I saw more off the ball fouls in the Elite Eight than I saw called in the BE all season.

To be fair III had a rotation of nine in the majority of games this season.

Actually, I think the key is to not have your stud PG, who averages 10 assists a game, break his wrist.

It would also help if your back up 4 and 5 didn't come down with season ending injuries.

Similar to having your PG injured and your 2G get diabetes.
