The NC State - KU game was so similar to our last game that it was eerie, from NC State having their center in foul trouble, to the score differential throughout the second half, to the sequence of the last two minutes, to the last shot and final score. weird.

I am so happy!!!!.
The basketball gods Giveth and Taketh away.. Win one by three. Lose one by 3. How does it feel being on the other end of the desperation shot that doesn't fall.
GTOWN SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN ST. LOUIS!!!. I am back to being depressed again.

Not sure where Kentucky's 35 for 37 from the line ranks historically, but, damn, that was impressive.

I just love that scoring points is returning the NCAA Tournament after the Butler CRAP that was forced on the country and resulted in some of the most disgusting basketball ever witnessed--and disgraced the Final 4 to an all time low including the single worst game I've ever seen in a Final 4--which also was for the National Title.
It's amazing how fun the games are to watch when guys are hitting shots and points are on the board.

Last year's title game was a ballet in comparison.

Who didn't love the Butler story though? Title game 2 years in a row. That was pretty remarkable. Doesn't matter how the job gets done, as long as it gets done. From a basketball spectator standpoint though, I hear you.

Butler has looked like Loyola Marymount compared to some of the Wisconsin games I have been forced to watch over the last 15 years. There is specifically a game against Missouri State that I consider the worst NCAA game of all time.

I still go with Butler as the most hated/disgusting team to watch because of the fact they were allowed to get away with murder and when in Final 4 (four games) they shot in the 20's percentage wise--yet won 2 games. That is horrific for the sport. That also means they are being rewarded for non skill in the game and that cheats the game and ruins it. If they never make it back to NCAA's as they currently play--it would be fine by me.

And as much as I hate to admit it why wouldn't a top recruit not want to play for a team like Kentucky and a coach like Calipari when he can get a team full of underclassmen to not only play well on the court but to play in such an entertaining fashion?

Too many negatives.... entering a zone of danger. Is anyone arguing that top recruits don't want to play at UK?

I am really pulling for Louisville this tournament.
Despite Pitino's history he was of the biggest contributors to trying to sort out all of this big east mess.

Siva just picked up his 5th foul on a stupid, stupid play. He sometimes does not play very smart basketball.

I think an interesting experiment would be to take a look at the refs NCAA brackets and see how they affect the games...

The refs just totally changed this game by calling one of the worst fouls I have ever seen for Sullinger's second. Sullinger didn't even try to play D on that layup because he was afraid of being in foul trouble.
