KGHoya with line of night on Twitter:
Is Josh Pastner coaching the Grizzlies in the 4th Quarter? I'm still laughing about that one. Classic.

I posted in it in the main board,lol.....2mins left in the 3rd 8pts 12 rebs 9 blks Bynum had almost the exact same stats as Roy yesterday, but he added two more points and one block to get his triple double, and tied the all time playoff record for blocks.

More importantly, Lakers won. ;D But Pacers lost.

The Nugs destroyed the Lakers...fun game to watch.
Question: is the player numbering in the NBA the same as college? 1-5? It was odd because the Lakers ended with a players #88 on the floor.

I didn't think so. Disgraceful was more like it. The "performance" by every Laker other than Kobe the last two games has been ridiculous.

San Antonio passes really well. Their offense, last night, was fun to watch.

As much as I like Durant and OKC, it is difficult to imagine any of the remaining teams beating San Antonio if they are going to hit on all cylinders like last night.

"We played good enough to give ourselves a chance to win," James said. "That's all you can ask for."
That's why LeBron will never be an all-time great.

The guy is a three-time MVP, with more likely to come. That puts him in company with who, Kareem, Russell, Wilt, Magic, Bird, Jordan? I'm not sure if I forgot someone, but that's some select company. And even the no titles knock wouldn't be so terrible, if he didn't regularly shrink in the playoffs. That's the killer.

"We played good enough to give ourselves a chance to win," James said. "That's all you can ask for." That's why LeBron will never be an all-time great. He is already an all-time great even with zero titles. And he will leave the game as an all-time great even if he doesn't get a ring. Ewing, Barkley, Malone and Stockton weren't even as good as this guy, have zero titles amongst themselves and yet are considered all-time greats. But when a nation seems to act as if a certain athlete is just barely above Bin Laden in terms of villainy, I guess he won't get credit for anything.

He gets credit for being an athletic freak with insane skills. But as far as being an all-time great on the par with Russell, Magic, Bird, Jordan, etc., that sort of attitude won't cut it. Could you imagine any of those players (or even Ewing, Barkley, Malone or Stockton) saying, "We played good enough to give ourselves a chance to win. That's all you can ask for." At this point, he's Wilt Chamberlin without the titles (and I love Wilt).

Wilt is an all time great. LeBron's dominating, overpowering skills make him an all time great, IMO. And I am not a fan of LeBron.

Is there really a question whether Lebron is an all time great? It took a long time for 4 x MVP Wilt Chamberlain to win his first NBA title (8-9 years or so). And in his long career, he only won 2. As great as he was, many people thought Bill Russell was the better overall player.
LeBron is still being criticized for leaving Cleveland (that's got to be a first!), the WAY he left, and for joining fellow superstars so he could win a title. Things change in sports though, and he could end up being a favorite again somewhere down the road.... like if he keys another Gold Medal run for the USA.
Still, I prefer Kevin Durant and OKC! Go Thunder!

This much is obvious. Shane Battier went to Duke. Even on a team prone to flopping, he stands (or rather doesn't) out.

I will give you this, an all time great certainly gets that no call on the foul against Durant at the end of the game last night.
