Nate's dunk when he had a head of steam was real nice. He's not a quick leaper but he gets some hang time when he gathers himself. I'd like to see more of that aggression from him.
Nate played a very good game. Certainly was right there with Hollis for MVP last night.

And if you ever hear me use KL as a defense to a prediction, yell at my father for not realizing the possibility of prophylactic malfunction. I'm not sure why Kenner is league is worse for evaluation than high school ball or AAU. I've watched enough of those to know that at the high levels, almost no team plays a half-court offense, for example. My point would be, I'm not with the athleticism-only crew on DSR, but I also think that definitely calling him a better overall player than Jabril next year -- when Jabril will already have adjusted to college and the college game -- based on high school or AAU is as slippery an argument as basing it on Kenner. Or more so.

Nate's best game of the year. By far.

Are we really discussing the IUPUI game? Seems appropriate, as it is the game the Hoyas just played. You would prefer a discussion on the failure of the super committee?

I knew I was sitting on the sidelines of this board for far too long. An MCI rant - I feel like Steve Buscemi in Mr. Deeds getting to cross your name off my list. (I'm looking damn good in this bright red lipstick.) Come on man, that was Billy Madison.

I don't have the quote in front of me, but in Coach's press conference he discussed how a player could greatly affect the game without scoring. In particular, I recall him referencing rebounding, setting screens, communicating on defense, hustling, etc. It was like a blueprint of what Nate brings to the floor that the casual fan or writer could easily miss. And then when the reporter asked Nate how he felt after Memphis game his response was basically, as long as we win, that's all that matters. If we could have put his heart and effort in some of our players bodies they could have been all americans. Instead they went from D-1 hoops to Europe. Thanks Rudy.

It was late Cambridge, but that's no excuse. I blame Jack and Jill.
